I buy albums all the time, I like to support music and artist that I like but this is true. A million copies were already purchased, there's no reason to buy it unless you're a big fan and want it for your collection. :lol: it's sad how many people actually believed you could only get it if you had a Samsung or had to wait for the physical.



As for his numbers, those are great numbers. Jay's always been around 350-450 first week. This album did have some CRAZY promotion but I still didn't think it would sell that much because of the app and it being a free album. Congrats though.
 
in the 90's artist had to drop a classic to go gold in the 1st week

now trash or washed up artist can join the illuminati and pretend to go gold the 1st week

Name some hip hop artist in the 90's who went gold the first week? Only 1 or 2...if it even happened at all.

jay new albums are trash compared to the classics from the 90's

jay best album flopped in the 90's

jay new albums sales don't match the album or decade

Edit: Walked in the electronics store and they had Holy Grail on blast. Rap hardly ever gets play here, much less JAY-Z.
