+++OFFICIAL JAY Z THREAD+++

I needa go to a jay concert.
But I know he isn't gana perform what I wanna hear.

Can I live
PSA
Money cash ****
Dead presidents

i've seen him 4 times & he usually just sticks to new material & his singles for shows... however, he'll usually sneak a couple gems in the setlist. when i saw in for one of his barclays center shows, he did all of can i live (second time i've seen that live, the first was on the BP3 tour), & he did the first verse of DP2.

PSA in whole is a staple for all his shows though :smokin

At this point, only songs off MCHG, I really mess wit are: HG, Tom Ford, Rozay joint, SWI America, Beyonce joint (the whip like this at hi volumes on the hi way) La Fam. The rest get skipped quickly.

Album got old pretty fast...only a handful of songs that I can still play and enjoy.

Oceans is a great track but theres a
Seven songs that give me urge to run them back when they come on: Picasso Baby, FUTW, Crown, Heaven, Jay-Z Blue, and Nickels and Dimes. I still can't pick out a clear cut favorite but it's one of those

I took a look at my play counts yesterday and I matches up, I couldn't believe I played F*ckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt so much though,
Still hasnt gotten old.

But the tickets are already paid for, the people are already there... so why not perform WHATEVER he wants.

And wouldn't it make more sense to perform more songs off MCHG when it JUST came out?

Take SWIA off that list and replace it with Beach is Better for me. But all of this.

Honestly you gotta be some kind of idiot to say "only thing jay z talks about is money" that **** is so damn false. Dude's subject matter on this album varies from song to song but I guess y'all don't hear it though .

^ to put fire to that convo.

I found myself in a "non hiphop" bar the other night, downtown Manhattan.

They played Tom Ford, I was thrilled to hear hiphop, then I realized, I haven't the first clue on the "Tom Ford" brand (other than it being expensive clothing?). The non hiphop crowd probably relates to that hook more than I do
