Ray Donovan; new series on showtime

Rey's daughter and the teacher story line sucks. I rather it be Connar getting some teacher yams.

Ray is not gay

She shouldn't be taking advantage of that dude when he's all nodded out. That ain't right.

Solid episode.

Finney is a sociopath. Family is all kinds of messed up.

More Connor less Bridget.

Feel bad for Bunch as soon as things get good for him something always happens.

Terry looked a lot younger with haircut and shave. I think staying at Ray's is good for him and Abbey.

Mickey is realizing he ain't as young as he used to be, but he doesn't want to admit it.

Next episode will be interesting.

One of my favorite episodes this season. Ray Forgives Avi finally, and he about to have that NFL money.

:smh: If they seriously try a Terry and Abby relationship this show is halfway there to jumping shark.

 @ bringing back the LA FBI chief. Hank Azaria is always good for a laugh.

solid episode

I am shocked this ep had such a happy ending  and like happy when the ep was halfway done all the way to the end.

The entire time during the wedding, reception, and even when Bunchy drove away I was expecting the Minassians to show up and shoot up the whole place

This was a good ep.

I'm so disappointed in Darryl, falling in love with a pro and bringing her to the wedding.

I'm surprised they brought back Agador Spartacus, I figured the Minassians and Father Romero would be the villains of this season.

:smh: :smh: at still not giving Connor any kind of storyline but Bridget gets this teacher/student story arc.

I think it's a huge reach that Terry and Abby will do anything. I'm also surprised that Ray handed over the million just based on how Teresa and Bunch look together. If that were me, the backgrounds of the people she rolls with would have me wary. I'd have sat Teresa down and at least had her sign a prenup.

Or atleast give him some of the money, not all of it. There were so many other reasonable choices that leads me to believe something is about to go down.

 I forgot about Darryl simping.

Son barely above Bunchy when it comes to the Donovan bros. More and more he seems like a weak character.

In the end, Ray gave Bunch the mil cuz he now has 3% in a NFL team.

So if/when he inevitably wastes all the money or gets robbed, the entire family won't be assed out when they really need money.

Of course he doesn't know how ol FBI dude is gonna try and **** his money flow up.

i see terry and abby just being two people who happen to need somebody

i also think bunchy and teresa just showed ray that he doesnt need to worry about bunchy

he always thought he was protecting bunchy and keeping him from gettin hurt

he never thought about bunchy actually being happy as being important until now

cold **** how bunchy dismissed mickey and how he just walked away from ray at the end

i think hank might try to extort ray rather than blow the deal for him

no finneys this ep

bridget's storyline is so dumb

Crazy how Mickey was excluded from everything with the family and everything went so well hahah. Bunch asking him to not talk so he doesn't ruin it. Cold blooded but well deserved considering the circumstances.

I trust Bunchee's wife. Ya, her family be on some swindles with the wrestling scams, but I don't think it's like that with her and Bunch. Ray trusts her too i think.

I wonder if Mickey will survive I to next season. I hope so, Voigt is SO good. Hell, everybody is good. Some of the best writing and acting on television in Ray Donovan

Poor Terry, he seems to be deteriorating quickly :frown:

I actually wish there was a scene with Ray and Teresa to show that he now trusts her or they came to an understanding to at least justify that toast he gave where he said just looking at them together seems right.

Their entire interaction has been Ray not leaning one way or the other on her, lying to her and her barking on him about how they treat Bunchy.

Surprised there's a thread for this

A little too much typing for my taste but lehgetit

I think what turned Ray was her bringing him his socks as a backup. That interaction seemed to be the catalyst at least in my opinion. He was already looking to get him his money early in the episode anyway after talking to his accountant who was against the idea.

The scene where Ray toasts Brendan and Teresa is the scene where he accepted her.

They looked happy and he was cool with that.

edit: I missed the socks part, but that would do it as well

I agree about the socks scene, that probably is when Ray felt more comfortable. But that still doesn't take away from the fact he already had the check. So are we to assume he was already going to give him the check or he was waiting for a sign? Both seem very unlike Ray.

The scene at the reception when ray is looking at his family and it's a happy time was well done. Few and far between for all of them.
