Ray Donovan; new series on showtime

If he was a Fed he'd have arrested Bunch for attempted murder after the confession. He would have has the confession, motive, and a body. Definitely enough to bring him for more questioning.
Not necessarily. Do you think they'd be happy with Bunch when they could get Ray and Mick and whomever is paying Ray? This guy could even be working for the disgraced Fed from last season.

Bunch is clearly the weakest link in the Donovan chain. He already implicated Ray. Some intense questioning and he'd definitely flip. Especially if they try and pin the whole murder on him alone.

And if the FEDS were looking into the Donovan connection to the murdered priest, Frank would probably know and would have tipped Ray off.

Frank, you mean Barnes the dude Ray had under his thumb? He thinks he paid his debt already. He hates Ray. He'd prefer nothing more than to have Ray dead.

I'm pretty sure Bunch just uses them as paperweights. That's what that last scene signified.

Ohhhhhhh that makes sense. Repped.

So the bald white dude was just a regular joe?

That's what I'm thinking. Just to show how paranoid Terry was. At the end I'm thinking it was affirming that there was in fact someone out to get Terry but it made sense with the papers and letters on the ground the second time and Pie not seeing the guy in the office the first time.

Frank is his first name...

Yea but Ray still had the recording. It makes no sense for Frank to try and set Ray up knowing Ray still had evidence of the cover up. If the priest was introduced next episode then what you're saying would make sense, since Ray finally gave him the recording. But he was introduced the first episode. Nothing at all, based in what I've seen points to him being any kind of legitimate law enforcement.

Who said he was setting him up?

We all know that Ray and Avi are going to link back up to take down the Aryans, and possibly Finney.
 I'm pretty sure the Aryans aint back and won't be coming back. No way in hell ray and Avi take down the Aryan nation or the Aryan chapter of LA/Cali.

All that's left is Finney, church guy, and ppl that got Mickey in the bind.

If the Aryans aren't around who is taunting Terry? Somebody knows about what he did in prison and is leaving weights all over the gym.

Andrew Finney went off on Ray :wow:

Thought the cops was going storm into the dinner after Bunch said what he and Ray did

After that family moment at the gym Mickey still went ahead and ask Terry to do him a favor

It was Bunchy that left the weight on his desk. They showed us that at the end of the ep. They actually went completely out of their way with that scene since it showed nothing but Bunchy doing that.

Nobody is taunting Terry. He saw the weight, saw the tatted white guy, it triggered his paranoia, and he thought the Aryans were coming.

^that was covered in here already today

..........................ok, didn't know that.

I have to go back and rewatch that last scene because I thought him and his new lucha girl walked completely past the desk and then a weight appeared....

He said hold on let me pick this up. Picked up the mail, putting it on the glass counter and then put weight on it so it wouldn't fall or the fans wouldn't blow them to the ground again.

Pretty good episode last night. This show goes too much with the weird sex angles though. Finney and the son in law? Bridget and this teacher? Bunchy and whoever the hell he is with?? I understand the underlying storyline considering the kids were abused as children, but some of it is just uncalled for in my opinion.

The Finney storyline did heat up a bit with the NFL team deal falling through now. When mcshane kept yelling 3% of nothing, I was dying!!!

Mickey going to put in that work.

idk why but Terry bugging out alone in the gym had me dying

Also when Mickey went for the fuel and fire:

Daryl: what are you doin' pops?
Mickey: I'm gonna torch her cah

-no way that priest works for any type of law enforcement, the first scene with him & ezra [rip] showed me that, unless he's straight sent by the vatican ops.

-terry's demise is kinda sad, i thought he was gonna kill someone for sure, with his shaky hand & that stagecoach pistol.

-i always want the best for bunchy, but he's so torn & easy to manipulate.

-the finney family is still strange as hell, even more now with that confession about andrew, "3% of NOTHING" had me dying laughing.

-it's just really difficult to follow this season for some strange reason, a lot of weird twists, plots & turns.

-ray gotta let avi back, my dude already has been through enough with getting killed & coming back to life for being in that relationship with tony montana's sister.

-we've been watching ray do this fixer rogue work for so long, i always laugh at the parts when he's doing normal stuff, laying on the couch watching tv, washing dishes, & this time brushing his teeth.

fun fact: my barber's uncle plays potato pie, lol... true story.

Nothing surprising there. Something been up with how they act towards each other as a couple. Several times before she's hinted she'd let Ray smash and dude hasn't even flinched.

All them old billionaires been on the other side. That reveal was simply, hey we the audience don't really know a damn thing about this family other than they're ****** up.
Bridget and this teacher?
This is the biggest reach in the show but honestly it was only until the other girl said Bridget wanted to smash and she didn't deny it that sex with the teacher even became an option. I just thought she was being a lame and sullen cuz of Marvin's death. Also wanting a pass for grades.

If she is seducing him through an emotional connection it's probably the most subtle and cunning seduction on tv right now.

Bunchy needing a dominating woman to stimulate him and get him aroused makes sense given he started this series saying he was incapable of being sexual. Turns out he just has a type, spicy latinas.

I also thought think Ray and Abby will be on the outs again. I feel like Paige was purposely trying to insinuate that her and Ray had a fling, and the "speech" her pops gave at the end about what Ray had to do for the 3% didn't help either. Abby is gonna fall for the Okey doke.
Abby won't give two damns and if she does Ray won't give two damns that she gives two damns.

She's just happy her man is back, took her back, after she had the Cop all up in the tubes. It hurt her feelings but she isn't going to do anything other than run her mouth.

Can somebody explain to me that whole Finney and the son in the law thing? I tried to follow where that storyline was going

They were having an affair. She has a love letter/break-up letter she used to blackmail him in helping her buy the NFL team.

If you remember earlier, she called her dad in to the room with a brown envelope in her hands and closed the door when she saw Ray looking. That was her blackmailing him.
