1 each for the both of them and my pairs makes 5. i don't see what the issue is if i have the money besides each pair will be had at 130-140 depending on retail, rock stock & backup

I've got DS shoes from 09 with no cracks, I've also worn a couple older pairs this year for the first time with no cracks.
Then there are shoes from 2012 that I wore a month after release that cracked on the first wear.

word i rocked an 08 pair fine but my ds thunders had that slight look to them & iknew a crack was coming
when you properly maintain and ventilate your collection it rlly does make a difference

Picked up a fresh pair of FireRed 4's about a month ago, first wear, cracked paint.
Pair with 50+wears on them from the same release, no cracks.
Letting them sit scares me.

I don't believe in that, if they are going to crack they are going to crack.
Keeping them DS for years or wearing them right out of the box doesn't really make a difference to me.
My thunder 4s cracked on the second wear not too long after they were released. I wore Joker 3s for the first time a couple weeks ago a handful of times and had no issues with cracks.
Just my opinion but it's like some pairs are going to crack regardless of when they are worn.

Maybe it's just the way they were painted.
Could be the way the cat I grabbed these from stored them. The pair I had were fine, and still are, minus the heel tab my pup chewed up.
Just the luck of the draw or perhaps the way they had been stored.

Was only in Tampa for the Summer, so I left about two weeks ago now, but it was the same as it is all over Florida; hot, humid, with some rain every now and again.
I've heard of the problems with the Military's, but hoped mine we're different.
Might just look for a new pair.

I have learned to accept cracking on 4s I have a couple pairs and the only ones that haven't cracked are my cavs
