The 2012 black/red and black toe KO's were limited. I was able to cop for retail and doubled up a short time later for $220. There were definitely not as many pairs on eBay then as there are now, as people try to unload them. Resale has not increased at all. All the KO's since then have been easily attainable. Sport Royals released Aug. 23rd 2014, not even a year and they are still sitting locally. Nobody is paying resale.

Edit: not to mention low top and strapped breds are still sitting, I highly doubt these will fly off shelves.

Are these going to be limited or are they going to be widely released like the sport blues? I'm just going based on the 2012 bred KO's price still hasnt dropped on those despite all the other pairs sitting. Im not saying these will be hard to get, it just sounds like people want to wait as if these will go on discount and I don't think thats gonna happen. The stock will dry up before then. And like i said before, the sport blues havent been sitting since release. them being widely available now is new. When they sold out originally that was it and prices DID go up. They just recently fell when when footlocker/footaction got a hold of a second wave of pairs. whether theyve been sitting at a wear house somewhere or whatever. I remember looking for a pair almost a year ago and besides finding a size 14 at a house of hoops ebay was the only place you could find them and they did hit 200.

These bred straps? They were released again?
 
Anyone else think Sport Blues were slept on because they weren't called Royals? Bred is a pretty valued name for Jordan brand.

I think so. Lots were saying that the blue wasn't close to the Royals, but they were decently close to the OG 85 Royals.

They were available at stores for weeks/months after release. They only sold out online. People were posting during that time about their stores still having pairs long after release. Then people realized they weren't selling and probably a lot got returned. I will say, $150 for canvas is steep.

Edit: I guess that doesn't address if they made a lot of pairs...my bad. Hah.

Couple weeks ago I was in Shoe Palace and they still had the royal colorway. I tried to intererst the person I was with in these, and they didn't even know what they were. After doing my best to explain, that these were designed in '85 and were a very cool alternative to the standard Jordan I model, they pulled out their phone as if I were lying or didn't know what the hell I was talking about. A minute or so later I was being asked about royal 1 rumors.

Where you guys are at life must be different, but out here these kids/girls/hypebeast don't give a damn about sh*t like this.

Yea if anyone can point me to the the sport blue ajko for $60, $70 I'm all in. Definitely looking to add these as I actually like the look of KO's better than leather. I have super flat feet so these work better for me.

eBay, tons of ds pairs on there. Message anyone asking for anything under 125 and start negotiating
