Official AJKO OG Thread (Everything AJKO Related)

Jimmy Jazz at the Galleria had the sport blue KO's up on the wall and for sale yesterday. Not sure if they sold out now or not. JJ makes their own rules

i might cop if the nike on the sole color is different :smh: yall complain about anything nowdays

Complaining about how consumers want to spend money is just as bad. Just move on if you dont like something. Ppl forget these threads are made to be informative, and for potential buyers to voice their opinions no matter how minimal or drastic.

people get butt hurt so fast around here, cant even bust balls no more without dudes catching feelings. and as always do what you want with the shoes you buy, hell i do but you cant cry when you voice an opinion and i think its stupid cuz thats my opinion, so opinions are cool but opinions about others opinions are not allowed? hmm

Haven't bought any Js since the Fire Red IIIs and Black Toe Is. Would definitely like to get these since I sold all of my Royals.

@Bboyd Time to see if they do phone orders

i hear ya, im just an ***** and like to push buttons sometimes so dont take me seriously and for sure we all have real problems and thank the lord for GOD being with us or life would blow super chunks, anyways does anyone think these will be a problem or because they arent royals they shouldnt be insanity upon release? oh and any other jimmy jazz putting these up early? i might go check my local shop to see

I don't think it will be crazy. The chicago's weren't bad but it's hard to say how it will go down though. I don't get why someone wouldn't buy because it's not royal. sports blue is still a nice blue.... oh well. Cant wait!

I have only tried for the Breds so far (i failed tho). Would've copped the NCs if they werent in a pack.
BRed AJKOs?

Those sat for about a week or more here in ATL and were readily available on ebay with hardly any mark up there after.

People just don't like AJKOs here.  It's been so easy to cop them all, but this pair may be a little different.

I will camp a couple of hours to be safe and try to double up if possible.

^ I mean the Bred AJKOs are the Only AJKOs I have gone for. I have a bunch of 1s

Chicago gets a pretty low allocation for the size of the city. Sometimes I feel as if much smaller cities get the same, if not more than us. Especially when you loook at those footlocker release maps of limited pairs and Chicago only has 1 store getting a shoe :smh:

You are the complete opposite of me.  I wanted OG Jordans , but struck out every release.

Yet I found that I had no problem picking up AJKOs at retail or below so that became my new focus.

I still want royals and black toes, but my AJKOs will have to due for now.

It's not even a money issue for me, it's more a mental issue.

I refuse to pay over $300 for a pair of Jordan 1s.  I just don't see the value in that situation.

II love the 1, but I don't love it that much.

The Nike SB x Jordan collabs were my most expensive Js and I don't regret paying resale because they are something special.

The quality of the leather is what got me and I thought the concept was dope.

that tongue tag might have me passing on these...

just not feeling it.

got 2001 and 2013 royals, so i'll live...

anyone know what bred AJKO's and 2010 chicago's are going for now? i have a couple extra pair in a size 13 i need to unload soon.

@DJ Proto J

The current average prices are surprisingly low for those ko colorways.

2010 chi KO mrsp$125                  DS in 2014-  $155-160

2012 Blk/Red KO mrsp$125           DS in 2014-   $190-200  on a good day

Give or take but it's not by much I can guarantee you that.

Those prices seem low ... But if you can point me to another pair of blk/reds for those prices I'm down

Whats up Y'all?                     The prices on JB

I respect all you're opinions considering you're NT track records. For those who don't want to read lets just say blk/red AJKO's are $220... 240 max currently depending on the customer. I'm sure most of you already know the nonsense i'm about to spill out.

Sorry guys, I'm not perfect by any stretch but let me explain my rationale. This isn't an attack so don't get it twisted. Were on the same team. You may be right about the blk/red AJKO's being a little too low but i'm sure about those CHI's.  Here goes the WALL OF TEXT NO ONE EVER WANTS TO READ. BREAK IT DOWN LIKE MISSY ELLIOTT. I want to get it all out so I don't have to go back n forth. I don't disagree with the higher prices stated above. There's reasons why we're all seeing those prices. HERE'S WHY:

1.) There's a difference between a seller and a re-seller. Flight Club/Solesupremacy/KC etc. are technically re-seller boutiques reselling what is sold to them by others. 4 entity's are making a profit in this order  (Nike)--to---(Foot-locker etc.)- to--( Buyer selling to Flight club)--to---( Flight club's profit.)  Some of these sites have street teams that go out get them on RD for higher profits.

2.) From what i'm familiar with, Flight Club is meant for people who don't have another choice and cant get a hold of the shoe near them. It's priced off CONVENIENCE. It's a luxury service and you pay a luxury/convenience tax. Flight club/ sole supremacy ect. charge premiums for ACCESABILITY. Usually prices on FC are $75/100 higher on any given shoe. Sometimes they are retail. FC gives a cut to the original seller/middleman who sold the shoes to them and then FC takes another cut for themselves thus doubling the profit margin which is then passed on to            the buyer. Everyone involved has to take a cut

EXAMPLE: Huaraches on FC listed $75 -150 over retail currently but I can still walk into the store and buy some colorways, not all, for retail 99.99 or buy                                      from another seller if i'm in the right area.

The blk/red AJKO is listed on FC for $300. I also see white/infra VI for 250-260 and we all know that those are really going for about 200 currently.

E-bay is also convienient. Bay sellers hike up prices as well, but you can find deals too.

3.) $270-300 is great for the re-seller/FC. We all know FC is overpriced.                       $145-175 profit margins Over double the original mrsp

$240 is great for average sellers like me selling to anyone or to FC if i bought on RD         $115 profit

$200 is good for the buyer and the seller.                                                                        $75 profit

If the average seller & I were to meet in the middle it would be $220                                $95 profit  and everyone leaves relatively happy.

4.) These shoes are now being retrod with original nike vandal soles and nike air tags unlike the 2010 chi's and 2012 b/r. Also the 2010 CHIs Were not a hit because of the vintage look which I actually enjoy.

5.) The demand for AJKO is extremely low compared to it's counterpart AJ1 blk/red og

6.) Current reputable pricing manuals for 2014 original jays & retros state otherwise.

The after market has pros & cons. Obviously there are a lot of factors involved & every shoe is different. Some are made differently, more wanted, more scarce, depends on size supply and demand. But just because you see those prices on the Bay or on Flight club doesn't mean thats the true worth of the shoe.  Theres always that fee. Like I said I'm not perfect and have overpaid for shoes so I'm more reserved most of the time. I over pay when it's something I truly want and cant find.

Didn't intend this rant to be this long.
