My pair looks like the pair above. It has some light spots and I'm not sure if its mold or dust. They will sit in the sunlight for a few days.

Sorry if I missed this but,does anyone know how this mold thing happen, was it some kinda of moisture? Or does the canvas/hemp like material the shoe is made from have something to do with it?

Or they weren't shipped correctly and moisture got in. Im sure canvas is probably more susceptible to the issue so that probably didnt help. Hope my kixsquare pair ships soon

Smh, you would think with all the money Nike makes they would have better facilities for storage,an it seem like these shoes weren't inspected before being sent out, thats crazy.

yeah thats true, but this isnt an every day occurence either. im sure that a majority of the pairs were fine, but recalling all of them is the only way to play it safe

I'm sure some spots are going to be in trouble because nike is asking for a total recall. Obviously some places will have unaccounted for pairs. Especially the smaller spots that get like 1 or 2 fsr

Doesn't Nike know how many pairs each store is sent? LOL Shouldn't matter the size of the shipment. Spots are def gonna get exposed. No way Nike doesn't know down to the sizes that each location got.

I'll even go out on a limb and say these were probably as randomly affected as most of the other Nike/JB releases. It's just that mold/fungi/bacteria issues would presumed to be taken far more seriously than a cosmetic issue. When something will cause a potential health risk you just can't chance it. If the Nike camp went on to mass release these knowing the issues at hand, and God forbid someone had a serious health related issue as a result, I'm sure a hefty lawsuit would be in order.
