Like it was mentioned Cowboys had dude on the sideline after he killed someone, for the patriots to do it on the day he got arrested is crazy. You think Brady would've got the same treatment?

Based off of what?

Aaron Hernandez, while not Tom Brady, is one of the best TEs in the NFL.

Murder charges take precedence over organizational standing and legacy.

At the end of the day Aaron Hernandez did it to himself, and destroying his personal cell phone and home security system didn't help matters from an outside perspective looking in at this case.  
 
Since the media started ripping apart the "Patriot Way" after the news broke of Hernandez doing this Kraft had to make a statement to keep that legacy intact, and he did.

Diff times back then. Teams didn't have information like they do now. NE knows more about the case than we do.
They know more about it than Balt or Car knew back then.

They didn't cut one of their best players for fun, they have info you and I don't.
 
The Patriots are all about moving on and finding replacements, that fortunately for them (and unfortunately for the rest of the league), tend to pan out. There are exceptions like Ocho Cinco/Haynesworth, but they are an organization capable of moving on from this Hernandez mess.

Keeping him on the team only draws the media to them more, giving them the chance to ask every Hernandez-related question at practices/throughout the season. Now that he's released, it'll probably slowly be out of their hands.

Hey, no need for all the Cowboys slander :lol:.

Jerry Brown's mother wanted Brent on the sidelines around his teammates to help him deal with the mistake he made. It wasn't the best decision, hence the reason he was asked to leave at halftime.

He wasn't out here destroying evidence and hiring clean up crews :smh:
