As much as i can't stand the Pats i have nothing but respect for the no-bs type of business attitudes they have. They don't play. One mistake and goodbye. Other teams need to take notes of this and stop putting these guys on untouchable status because they are good players.

Cowboys player kills someone, he shows up on the sidelines (smiling) next week.

Pats player arrested on a charge ASSUMING he's killed someone, released within an hour of arrest.

Gawwwwwwwwd dammmmmmmm. :wow:

Gronk ailing, Hernandez out, Welker gone, mighty interesting times in New England.

Bengals and Raiders about to get into a massive bidding war for Hernandez.

What ever happened to innocent till proven guilty? Being arrested and cut from the team before charges have been disclosed isnt a smart move by new england. (imo)

I guess should re-state what I meant

. So is his entire contract voided? How much will they have to pay of it/how much will have to be paid back?
Article I read on USA Today says this move "could cost him $37 million."

Ross Tucker ‏@RossTuckerNFL 21m

NFL teams have security departments that are VERY connected to local authorities so Pats likely know more than we do

@ProFootballTalk: Source with direct knowledge of Hernandez situation tells us: "Assume the worst."

Listening to WEEI 93.7 Mut & Merloni and they insinuated that the Patriots must know what he is going to be charged with.

Thus they have decided it was time to cut ties.

The Pats have cut productive players who DIDNT have off the field issues. Why would they be lenient for one who does?

Due process doesn't apply to NFL employment. Pats have their reasoning and I'm sure they are comfortable with the move
