Nike Air Max Plus Thread

Please God let the Hyperblues come back. I need them back in my life and a proper retro, not some hyperfused or new take, just give us the original in all its glory.

Thank you.

I would like to see the original Hyper Blues, too.

This is what happened to my 2003 retro three weeks ago: the right shoe finally cracked and the left shoe was starting to crack a little as well.

I'm not settling for that weird Hyper Blue/Neon Green colorway. If the original Hyper Blues are indeed returning for the holidays, I'm definitely getting a pair.

Picked up the Euro release of the Pimento's, Nike did a very nice job. The materials seem close if not dead on to the original, aren't as cushioned as the original but still comfy. They shortened the tongue on these so it wont slide around as much as the original and the essence of the original is there. Hope the US release of the hyperblues is this good.

If the materials are closer to how the originals were, that's a huge plus. Pun not really intended.

I remember the original Plus to be a bit tight and you'd have to go up a half size. Was your retro like this?

Originals and early retros always felt really sturdy on my feet and to the touch. More recent retros have gone with this thinner mesh.

tn's always run tight always go .5 to full size up

It's funny because they dont feel retro because Nike has never stopped selling them in Europe/Australia lol

Quality is always pretty good with them, but like anything Nike accept the quality to decline

I had the Hyper Blues and the OG French Blues from 1999: both were an 11.5 yet felt really snug on my feet. I usually wear a 10.5 or an 11.

I went on a slight Air Max Plus binge in 2007, snatching up a bunch of releases. I found them to feel more wide on my feet, where an 11 actually felt slightly roomy. I hadn't bought any Pluses since then since almost everything good is overseas and expensive; the States got shafted with those Air Max Plus hybrids (97 and 360) as well as that weird Air Max Plus X.

I wouldn't mind if the Plus went back to its narrow fit, it'll be something I'll have to look out for when buying in-store.

I use to wear 12, infact I wore 12 with most shoes, then I came across 12.5 and found it significantly better. Unfortunately Nike don't make many shoes in 12.5, new air max's free runs etc they do but not the casual sportswear

I then started getting size 13 in shox which run really narrow and found it way better so did that with all shoes, I decided to buy my first pair of TN's in recent years, I tried on a 12 and it would barely fit now I get 13's and they fit perfect.

I use to only rock TN's and always bought 12, I stopped for a few years, and now 13 is perfect so I don't know if my foot got wider (lol) or the shoe got tighter

They out in Australia already.
Having a tough time finding them on FL's website.  I like the color, plus factor in these hard to find shoes in the US.

Same here, only hoping to cop the og hyper blue colorway, if they drop.

JM posted that the Hyper Blues would be one of the colorways returning. Hopefully they didn't get pushed back to Spring 2014 like the Air Missions.

but seriously $240 Aus, cheapest I can get is $216 Aus, not sure the exchange rate but I think we're sitting around 92cents?

With shipping it could potentially cost you about $250US ???

You don't have sales or discounts in Australia? In Europe, 6 to 12 months after the AM+ releases,  they usually become cheaper for a month.

Retail Price: €160 (~$115)

Sale Price 1: €100 (~$70)  common sale.

Sale Price 2: €130 (~$90)  less common sale.

Sale Price 3: €50 to €90 (~$35 to ~$65) rare sale.

Australia Retail Price: $240

Australia Sale Price: ???

Thanks!

$240 is retail, $216 is the price with the 10% members discount

sometimes unpopular colorways will go on sale for maybe $180??? or if there is a few pairs lying around they'll be marked down to $180

but they're basically the number 1 selling street shoe footlocker has no problem moving air max plus

if the white/green drop down I will be copping thats for sure
