Nike Air Max Plus Thread

Can anyone lookout for a size 11.5 with a bday coupon included?? I'll even supply you with the coupon.

Serious though.
maybe you dont want to hear that, but sadly enough for you the HB AMPs dont come in size US 11,5

cuz the first day when the AMP went live on the EU FL site i already noticed that size EU 45,5 (sz11,5)

was not available from the beginning, so you probably need to settle for a size 12 i think

Yeah, that's a common thing I've found with Euro releases over the years.  11.5s are often missing when it comes to Nike runners.  But I don't think it has any correlation to the stateside drops.  There may be less half-sizes stocked, but I've always been able to find them.

i think the problem with locating these is the name. we (myself) are calling asking for "air max plus" but it looks like these are now called "tuned 1"? (display table pic above)

can someone look at their box and confirm?

Box says: Air Max Plus

Receipt says: Air Tuned Air 1 OG

Footlocker EU has them listed as: Nike Tuned 1

Champs Sports Sku: 03-12680-4-04

Style# and colorcode for Hyper Blue: 604133 475

They also call it TN1 in Australia lol

but for the most part in Australia these are simply refered to as TN's

Didn't know about these until I saw Nightwing's video.

Need to get a pair
Nice video, at first I thought the lighting wasn't doing them justice but his on foot at the end is on point.

He also makes several references to them being from 1999 and the tips saying 1999 as apposed to 1998, easy mistake lol

He also says they have legit tuned air which I highly doubt. They did an awesome job on this retro but If you've owned the original's you know these aren't nearly as comfy.

Anyhow here is my pimento video

and here is a video for the originals

Wanted to also give a shout out to Johnny Appleseed who tried to look out for me out in Orlando, fortunately I snagged the last pair from a Champs 40 min away

Anyone have any luck in San Francisco area? I just called Stonestown and the worker had no idea what I was talking about.

Really hoping these get a wider release (footlocker and other spots like sheikh or online) because closest champs to me is almost an hour away...

Called SF Center when they opened and they had em. Shot out there quick and picked up a pair. Went up half a size like most of my Nike runners. Not as bad as the OGs in sizing where I had to go up like a full size.

Didn't have money to get these back then so glad to be able to get them now. Had the orange ones though and they're falling apart now. I just need a new pair of those and the cool greys with the royal blue swoosh and shank plate and ill be good. Sorry for the life story lol, just happy to get these

a little off topic but does anyone know the nike shoe that was almost similar to these? I think they looked almost a like, I had a pair in elementary but don't remember

My first pair was 2005 and although I've owned about 25 pairs I've never worn the originals lol, but since 2005 the comfort has never changed.

Seeing as these have never gone out of production at what point do you recon they stopped putting the tuned air in?

You must be out of the US because here there were two periods they have been out of production. 2004-2006/7 and 2006/7 to 2013. After 2003 they definitely switched up (at least in the US if I had to guess in Europe I'd say around 2004 or 2005 was a change) The 2006 us release felt like a pair of chuck Taylor's compared to the 98 to 2003 releases. This most recent release seems to have a thicker insole in comparison to the last US release and thus a little more comfy. Do yourself a favor and try to snag a 98 to 2003 pair, still one of the top 5 most comfy shoes I've ever owned and I've owned A LOT of shoes over the years lol

They got the grey pair on footlocker sites (eastbay, champs). Excluded from discount tho.

Knew my mall wouldn't have em, but I checked anyway. I was right :frown:

I hate my mall... No champs or footaction.
