I got Pac top 3 but it's all personal preference my dude.
How can someone who is highly regarded as the G.O.A.T. not be on 95% of these lists though?
I even think I saw Lil B more than Pac, which is blaphemous within itself.

I think the answer is similar to when kids say Kobe is better than Jordan.

The generational gap is real
95% of these lists are mostly all 90s rappers though

maybe being off of all these lists says something about pac and not the posters in this thread

This is just my opinion, but the alarming amount of lists that do NOT include Tupac, is very telling of this new generation of hip-hop fans.
Jay-Z today has about as much impact and media attention as Tupac did back then(WITHOUT THE INTERNET)

How many list have Chuck D, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane or Rakim?

I consider myself a knowledgeable hip hop listener. But I didn't grow up listening to pac, I was listening to tribe and jungle bros, rakim, Mos, the roots. Pac just never appealed to me. I understand his greatness, but I couldn't quote or tell you even 5 percent of his songs. Does that make me an inferior hip hop head? I think not, people have their preferences.

this is how i feel as well, i understand how/why pac is a legend but i can name 10+ rappers that i would listen to over pac. about 80% of what i listen to is 90s rap and i hardly ever listen to pac. another thing that takes away from his legacy imo is that he doesnt have a single album that i would want to listen to start to finish

Not a lot of peeps listen to real **** anymore. But then again, it's all preference... Although, when dudes are pickin' Lil B, Chief Keef, French Montana, Riff Raff, Lil Wayne, etc. over Pac, THAT'S when it becomes unacceptable.

I get LBGay and MJ comparisons... even worse. And to top that off, 2012 Olympic squad and Dream Team comparisons.

Not gonna lie, my generation's gotta be the *****iest thus far. Most the cats at my school got the game ****** up and listen to wack **** while callin' the legends wack. Not to mention, a majority are dumb af and have no ambitions whatsoever. ****'s pathetic. And these are my close friends we're talkin' about.

Naw, but it does make you an "inferior hip hop head" if you're pickin' the lame-*** artists I listed previously over someone like Pac. I understand where you're coming from but it's different when you're straight up disrespecting the dude.

You do realize that you're posting at a much higher rate than I EVER have or will, right thun thun?
It ain't that much higher, and you've been posting at a similar rate for YEARS. Years > a few weeks. And do you realize that I'll NEVER even have half as many posts as you?

You've been here a couple weeks and you have 300 posts.

It pains me to see you making yourself look so stupid.

You've been postin' like that for YEARS though. Why can't you grasp the simple concept that years are much longer than weeks?

Yet another *** that has to project his problems onto others in order to boost his self-esteem. But if that's what you gotta do to avoid suicide, so be it.

Hold up, am I gettin' trolled by all three of you *******? People don't really get this ******' stupid do they?

So you can all "judge [me] further"? Are you ******' serious?

You must've been bullied a **** load huh?

Though I don't agree with it, I can see why. You're weird af dude. You're one of them socially awkward *************. It's quite sad really. I'm glad you're using me as a way to cope with the stress though. Glad I could help.

My opinion is what got you ****s steamin' in the first place. I'm not gonna play you're lil game you ******' weirdo.
