David Aldridge said the NO pick is lottery protected. I know ESPN is reporting that it's only top 5 protected, but I'm going to believe DA until the official terms of the deal come out.

S*** just got real. Nets acquired KG and PP for Gerald Wallace, Humpfrie and 3 first round picks.

Dwill, Joe Johnson, PP, KG, Lopez starting line up.

Next year East playoff might get a little interesting. Rose will be back, the new Nets, Pacers, Heat. Finally Heat and Lebron won't steady coast through the ECF anymore :pimp:

I'm calling it early. Pacers defeat Heat in second round.

just like you said they were gonna beat us right? or the spurs was going to win also right? yeah ok..

Nets will be interesting.. with Jason Kidd coaching lol. Still think they're speed, or lack of, will hurt them. And their lack of a bench. But let's try not to hype them up so soon. Chemistry may be an issue. Lol. They might end up barely making the 8th seed. (*bang bang shots fired )

Pacers will still be an issue unless we add some size down low and/or Wade stays healthy.

yall hyping up the nets because yall hate the heat ,... yall sounding like knicks fans

no i bashed the nets all last year. these dudes kg and pierce. no matter how old they get they can still ball and put that ball in the hoop. put that together with deron and johnson. now johnson doesnt even have pressure to be the number 3 guy lol.

that team will be good. the only thing that will hold them back is age and injuries.

havent even brought up lopez and terry.

that will be a tough team in the half court.

now they need to try to trade brook to the lakers for dwight

Oh crap. Forgot about Jason Terry.
No lie though they will probably be a solid team. Their starting 5 have all been All-Stars lol.

as a Celtics fan, I actually have no issue with the trade, wish we could have gotten some better players but the 3 picks and getting rid of Terry's salary is good for our rebuild. and in the end Pierce and KG will sign 1 day contracts and retire as Celtics and get their numbers hung.

It sucks right now, but Ainge has been dragging his feet with this move for the past 2 seasons. Doc read the writing on the wall.

Not gonna be happy if we go after Josh Smith as our next big name player. Guy has shown he can't carry a team to the playoffs, let alone through the playoffs.  We are going to need a legit center and a solid perimeter scorer to get back to a top tier team.

also, the nets look good on paper, but I think Kidd is gonna have his struggles as a coach and you can't count on KG and Pierce playing a bunch of minutes and staying healthy all year. Will root for them in the playoffs though.

Celtics and Nets both came out winners in this trade. Nets are in a position to win today and Celtics can win tomorrow.

Now fools gold Rondo will finally be exposed. Doubt he makes the all star team next year. I can not wait.

Nets= Lakers 2012

But I think they'll actually be good

12-13 Lakers players were riddled with injuries. Nobody know how well they would have been if all starting 5 were healthy for the whole season.

lol not only the starting 5. 4 of the bench players also got hurt and it just go down hill from there.

just like you said they were gonna beat us right? or the spurs was going to win also right? yeah ok..

Spurs almost did. Don't front like yall wasn't dead and Spurs had to choke for yall to even have a shot lol.
almost doesnt count for ****.. you were talking so damn reckless like you had a clue..
"pacers in 6, no i mean pacers in 7.. oh wait, spurs in 5, nevermind, spurs in 6, oh man what was i thinking.. spurs in 7 you heard it here first"
"i didnt get to see any of the games that the heat won because i was doing laundry at my aunts house during the 2nd half and she lives a hour away"
"i got hungry and went to go eat pizza and the food to took forever to come so i couldnt watch the game"
sound about right?
