Wiggins wants to play for the raptors. How long before Rudy gay is traded or injured?

They really goofed. You know Silver/Stern woulda threw them that alley oop if they were a bottom 3 team but they had to get homeless Carmelo instead.

Ross/Wiggins on the wings would have been explosive

Was hoping ESPN would've sent LeBron over to Stephen A's and Skip's location at the ESPYS just to witness the awkwardness.

Mike Bibby was starting for the other team... were the Mavs really underdogs?

Half of that team barely even relevant in the NBA anymore.

Kidd, Peja, Cardinal. All retired.
Jason Terry, DeShawn Stevenson, Ian, Haywood, Caron Butler (who didn't play), JJ Barea all fell off the face of the earth since 2011.
Dirk, Matrix, Brewer and Tyson all haven't played at that level since the Finals.

Heat had two of the best four or five players in the world at the time. No excuse.

That Miami bench was sorry but I put that finals on lebron he came short and Dirk was on some next level

pretty much

no one expect Mavs to win. i was shocked when it happened

I'm not trying to discredit my own team, but they had two players who are and were overall better players. They had the best player in the league by far. They had Bosh who at the time many people thought would replace Dirk as the best PF.

Dirk and co. all stepped up their game big time, but that should be the series LeBron regrets more. Not 07.

Yeah because Mike Bibby, Big Z, Eddie House, Jamal Magloire, Joel Anthony and Juwan Howard are surely lighting up box scores on a nightly basis

Dirk played like a man possessed, can't even knock it. But the Mavs future sure is looking bright. :smokin :smokin

Dirk was in rare form the whole playoff run in 2011, I remember he hit like 50 free throws in a row or some ****. Had 30 and 15 in 3 straight games

Uh. All those guys played less than 20 MPG. It wasn't the bench that lost them that series. They could've supported them better, but LeBrons passiveness killed them. 18 PPG in the finals from the best player on the planet won't get it done the way he was playing that year.

Lol Eddie house and mike bibby. I remember the news papers down here were making a big deal of singing bibby like it was really gonna help the team..

but who they are today isn't relevant....its not a could those same players in their current state beat the heat in their current state today....its at the time...and at the time all of those players in some sort of fashion did they part and played big.....

heat overall team was definitely at a disadvantage against that mavs team...and thus why they lost.
