:lol: @ Atkins hating playing with Kobe. No one likes playing with Kobe, its hard, but if your someone like him you should be more grateful. If anything he should of been happy it made him relevant. I can guarantee you the name Chucky Atkins would not be brought up one single time by any NT'er in the entire year of 2013 if he hadnt played with Kobe.

He was probably good friends with Smush :lol:

I dont agree with nelly. Many people have reached their peaks playing with him and/or got better. I havent seen earl clark break out on any other team, trevor ariza, shannon brown. Those are all just recent examples. Nelly sounds very bias. Just like he said dwight was the only player on that magic team... Like hedo wasnt playing point forward hitting game winners that year. Rashard got his pay day off that season if im not mistaken and jameer was a all star pg.
 
like i said, Dwight had help for a year or two. Hedo and Shard were ballin on a whole new level :x

It's gonna be weird as **** watching Jason Kidd coach KG. It seems like it wasn't that long ago they were playing on the same All Star team.

Bingo. It was stupid. But I don't think they thought there was any benefit to short-terming contracts again and shooting for the moon again next offseason.

You've gotta have bodies for guys to want to come here. I don't hate the plan/idea, but I don't love doing this with Monta and Calderon at this point. Unless they can lure another legit star here next year, they're stuck somewhere in the 10-15 range in the draft again, which is completely useless.
 
the Mavs should have just traded dirk away let him get to a contender and pick up some young assets... Lottery picks and kept their cap space. Instead they pick up good players who won't make a good team and their going to be stuck for a minute out their.

It's actually currently at #6 and was high as #4. His new song with Pharrell and Nicki Minaj just came out a couple weeks ago and they just shot the video for it. Wouldn't doubt it if that song blows up real quickly.

Man as long as they have Dirk they have a chance. They dont do much through the draft anyway. They're exciting as a 6-8 seed.
