My favorite Mike Miller story, I'm mad I can't find it on Youtube, but he and his wife adopted a pet monkey (capuchin I believe) when she was pregnant, so they could get prepared for raising a child.

the second coming of rudy gay

Yikes. There can be a middle ground on Paul George.

If he can become more efficient, Ill gladly give him the middle ground, but for now hes putting up damn near identical numbers that rudy gay did his first 3 years, except rudy gay shot a better %

Does defense not count for anything and his first two years he was playing out of position because of Granger

Paul George offense game = Shoot open 3, Dunk on Birdman and take it to the basket on a 6'5 200 pound Iman Shumpert.

His defensive value makes him easily better than Rudy Gay.

And that's exactly why I said if he can become more efficient. If he hits around 45-46% (The same % rudy put up) Ill gladly give him the middle ground because his defense puts him over rudy.

At this point if I had to pick a SF to build a team around not named KD or Bron or Melo, Im taking Kawhi.

 at Miller going from being interested in signing with Memphis or OKC to OKC just being the front runners. If all OKC can offer the minimum and he signs there, Memphis front office is being really cheap. Miller has ties to Memphis from his wife working at St. Jude, him still owning a home here and playing for the Grizz thru 03-08. Something would have to be going on

The difference is... if he goes to OKC, he might win another title.

Unless miller gets more than 6 mil a year, it doesnt make a difference to him whether he gets the minimum or gets 5 mil a year, he gets paid the same.

it's the same either way. Just take what his new suitors pays him and subtract that from the total he is owed by Miami, unless of course someone makes an offers that exceeds his original amnestied salary which is unlikely.

Either OKC, LAC, or MEM would be the best fits.

Mike told a story on Lebatard radio show where he and his wife went out. The dogs were outside in the back and the monkey was locked in it's room. An hour later Mike gets a call that Sonny, the monkey had gotten out of his room let their great dane inside the house and when Mike returned home he saw his monkey riding one of their great dane's down the street..

Y'all acting like Paul George wasn't one of the best wing defenders in the league last year, he's more valuable than Rudy Gay off top because of that.

I'm saying.

Even if he never improves he's still more valuable than Rudy is/has ever been.

pretty much, the money has nothing to do with it. its all about where he wants to play

And PG's roof is a consistent all-star. While Kyries roof is superstar.

Kyrie is good, the only problem I got with him is his defense. I don't like the fact that Chirs Paul and Steve Nash are liabilities on defense but are allstars because of their offense. Kyrie rests on defense, if Clev makes the playoffs.. I think his defense will be the downfall of his team. The next game you see Kyrie play, watch him on defense. its pretty bad...

i've been sifting through and the knock on a lot of guys mentioned are their lack of defense.

can you guys list who you think are top defensive guards who start? (PG & SG)

you guys say guys like kyrie and cp3 don't play defense, but realistically how many guys can really lock up a guard like rose, westbrook, cp3, etc. one on one? guarding those type of players require sound and disciplined team defense.

I think Kyrie's fragility is overrated. I'm not that worried about his entire career being plagued by injury.

But.. I'm not as quick to anoint him top 5 or the next great superstar mostly because he hasn't played in enough games.

Its not that the cavs as a whole play zero defense, mike brown should alleviate that some
