 at Miller going from being interested in signing with Memphis or OKC to OKC just being the front runners. If all OKC can offer the minimum and he signs there, Memphis front office is being really cheap. Miller has ties to Memphis from his wife working at St. Jude, him still owning a home here and playing for the Grizz thru 03-08. Something would have to be going on
it's the same either way. Just take what his new suitors pays him and subtract that from the total he is owed by Miami, unless of course someone makes an offers that exceeds his original amnestied salary which is unlikely.

Either OKC, LAC, or MEM would be the best fits.
I thought that was only true if they claim him off waivers.

If he clears waivers like he has, then he gets the new contract plus the Miami contract

no, dont think thats correct.

It is. From the Miami Sun Sentinel:

Teams had 48 hours to bid on an amount of Miller's Heat contract they were willing to assume, with no such bids made during the waiver period.

so he gets the Miami money plus whatever he gets now

where does it say he gets more money on top of his old contract? :nerd:

my point was to highlight players who are known for their defense and/or rebounding and appreciate their play and hard work.

people disagreed with two players, and i was called a semi-racist.

EDIT:  Did i leave anyone out?

yea I remember someone posting an article with stats that showed kyrie was literally one of the worst defenders in the league, like bottom 10

Don't feed this troll. Ignore him.

your "own" fans?

who you foolin. you have no team

ever since i been on this board you were a kings, rockets, mavericks, warriors, cavs, heat, now warriors fan.

you are a "whoever facing the lakers" fan

***** was on the webber bibby bandwagon, then went to the yao ming tmac bandwagon, then somewhere around there a mavs fan, then on the we believe warriors train. next stop the whole lebron vs kobe whoever lebron play for bandwagon. now back to the warriors? is you snoop dogg?

plus u talk more about kobe bryant than those teams you rootin for combined

you and monta are alike. same act and yall will never change

 COMING from YOU?!?!? Really??? You're by far the biggest team jumper on here. Go back and check niketalk archives BEFORE the We Believe year and BEFORE Baron EVER was thought to be a Warrior. Let's count how many times YOU were in those threads vs me. I NEVER EVER seen you in NO Warriors thread UNTIL after the We Believe year. Now all of a sudden YOUR a Warrior's fan too??

EVERYONE knows YOU a Laker fan so stop the frontin. That's why you get all upset every time I go against YOUR team. Oh but now all of a sudden you wanna have a Steph avy and act like you're a Warriors fan. If ANYBODY is snoop, it's YOU! You crack me up for real. Out of ANYONE on this board, YOU trying to call me out for being a bandwagon jumper. THAT'S HILARIOUS!

Trying to call me out when you're the biggest bandwagon fan on here. Do I root for anyone that plays the lakers? HELL YEA! Better believe it. What's the issue with that? I STILL was a Warrior fan. I said this NUMEROUS times that my team is the Warriors but my favorite players are Penny and Tmac.

You still think Monta is better than Steph or nah?

I think Steph has improved and is up there with Monta. I DAMN SURE don't think Steph is better though. Everyone sees this year's success of the Warriors and acts like it's "all steph" as if we didn't get HUGE contributions from Jack ,Landry, and our rookie phenom Barnes. If you watch Warrior games, it DAMN sure wasn't Steph that was leading the 4th quarter come backs but yet he'll get ALL the credit. Don't get me wrong, steph improved his game for sure and had an amazing year but everyone wants to diss Monta as if he wasn't playing with freaking BIEDRINS as his starting center and had a pre linsanity as one of the key backups. The depth of the warriors this year was way better than ANYTHING monta has ever seen as "the man" on the team.

I had to stop reading when Paul George was called the second coming of Rudy Gay. Easily the most disrespectful thing said in this entire thread.

:pimp: I hate all pacers minus YOLO Lance and sometimes roy hibbert

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/9491180/nba-approves-name-change-charlotte-bobcats

2nd half of the article is new rules/procedure, especially for instant replay and flopping

• It will now be a violation and an automatic turnover if an offensive player stands out of bounds and doesn't immediately return to the floor. This addresses a recent trend in the league of players standing out of bounds under the basket in an attempt to pull defenders out of position or hide from the defense. There will be no penalty for extenuating circumstances such as injuries or saving a loose ball.

this is the only one that I dont really get, is this really a problem? Living overseas and no league pass I dont watch as many games as I used to/like to, but how often does this happen? im guessing its for no-offense all defense big men?

aside from that, another take away from the article is that theyre considering a central review office a la the NHL. very much needed after instituting instant replay and with the new adjustments.

Dwyane Wade.

I am surprised I can't find a video but he does this and teams complained and sent tapes into the office, even as recent as these playoffs.

This is the closest I can find but it's AK baseline cuts, just imagine the same thing but going all the way out of bounds then making eye contact with the ball handler right before jump stopping in (to establish in bounds) right under the basket, especially after in bound plays as the inbounder.

LOL at Monta being better than Steph

LULZ

Let me know when Monta has had depth like Steph has.

Whatever though, NT overrates the hell out of steph ever since that game in MSG so i expected this. You guys are probably the same dudes that think Steph played GREAT against the Spurs in the playoffs too since he had that one HUGE game.
