Pierce will not pull a Lamar.

Just shows how underrated Pierce has been his entire career , putting his name within a paragraph of Odom is an insult and I'm a laker fan.

youre a Celtic fan and you think pp with be a post lakers lamar? What??

Dipset gon dipset

Son compared Paul Pierce to Lamar Odom.

I'll cut her some slack and assume she either had a pool party to go to afterwards, or wanted to get to her swimming classes on time.

Not once did i compare The Truth to Lamar Odom basketball talent on the court. What I DID compare is bring traded from their teams that cherished them and the teams that they have a bond with. Pierce is beside himself at Boston's management and does not wanna be in Brooklyn. Just like how Lamar spent several seasons as a Laker and thought he would retire there.

Reading is fundamental.

Bro, Lamar Odom is a career journeyman. Its not even close.

Its not like he lead the clips to a ring

So Farmar must be a die hard laker fan or something to give up an estimated $5-10m to get out of his turkey contract for a train-wreck of a team with some lofty fantasies for 500k. Damn.
5-10 million? Seriously? Maybe wanted to come back to that American lifestyle but who knows

Could THIS guy who spent his whole career with one team be like THIS guy who was on a different team every two years in terms of their situations being traded even though their games and skill levels are nothing alike?

You guys need to chill.

He's asking very simply, will Paul struggle leaving a squad he loved playing on, like LO did?

He didn't say they were the same player, or LO was as good, or anything close to that.

He just asked if Pierce would go into a funk like Odom did in Dallas. Stop jumping to assumptions.

As for the actual answer, I think Pierce will be fine because of KG, knowing Kidd, and their collective hunger to beat Miami. Pierce will be fine mentally.

I think Pierce will be fine but I worry that Joe Johnson will happily take that as a chance to disappear.

Either way it's still a dumb question. Odom showed signs of depression after being traded. On top of that, he was going through personal problems.

PP has never showed an ounce of disdain to Brooklyn. He has never showed a hint of depression.

He's all over television saying how it's a good situation in Brooklyn.

Not to mention Odom is the ultimate mental ******. Has been his whole career. PP is not built like that.
