I think Houston is just waiting for the right time to add a third superstar and fully build around them all. I thought Ryan Anderson would have been a great move, but it didn't work out for whatever reason. I think they'll see how this season goes and where they can improve the most and go from there.

when we get lebron next summer, we'll probably win like 6 titles in a row.

I didn't even know the Rockets resigned Brooks  nice :pimp: So I'm guessing that means Canaan will be mostly staying on the D-League.

Is Houston going after Lamarcus Aldridge ? Asik for him maybe

Lin
Harden
Parsons
Aldridge
Howard

That's a nice starting lineup right there

Orlando showed that the best way to utilize Dwight is with a stretch 4. HOU should have done whatever to get Anderson

I like Canaan the best out of the 4 but I don't know if I trust him as a rookie over all of em. I'm guessing they plan on using Parsons as their stretch 4, so who do they plan on starting at the 3....Garcia?

I'd guess Parsons at the 3 and start TJones or Asik a the 4. DMonta is buns to me. I saw one game where he made all his catch and shoot 3s and jujmpers and looked like he was the next big thing, then evry game I have seen since he just continues to stand out there and chuck them al day when they aren't falling.

If Canaan is already an NBA caliber shooter, I like him best just because Harden handles the ball so much you don't need a so called traditional point there anyways. Beverly is no doubt their best defender there, bit of a hack really, but he can't shoot or really do anything reliably on offense. Brooks has to come off the bench to give you bench scoring and shooting, he is also a 1 way player and Lin is ca$h cow to sell tickets and ideally is probably a bench caliber player outside of a 5 week stretch in his career, plus you know he's going to get scared come playoff time and feign an injury so he can escape that pressure because he ain't built for that life.

 at getting LeBron. I bet they can get Big Cuz though since they missed the boat on Josh Smith and Ryan Anderson.

You don't bleed a team for Ryan Anderson. New Orleans were just trying to see how much the Rockets would give up to get him. I don't think they were actually planning on trading him.

You do if he's the piece you need, not like they would've had to give up everything. There's no point in keeping Asik anyway so you might as well try to move him plus maybe picks or one of the young guys on the bench for a stretch 4

Looking at http://www.nba.com/freeagents/2013/ there's not lots of good options on the free agent market. I read they (HOU) are frontrunners to sign Camby, but in terms of stretch 4s who are FAs I see Turkoglu, Jamison, Odom, Kleiza, and Radmanovic. If you want to call Parsons your stretch 4, you can maybe look at guys like TMac, James Johnson, Gerald Henderson, Austin Daye, Devin Ebanks, or Sam Young at the 3, not to start but they can give you good minutes in certain lineup combinations. I like what Morey has done so far, but I think he's still a few moves away
