Y! Sources: The Brooklyn Nets are targeting free agent center Jason Collins for a return to the franchise. http://t.co/yrYWd5uh2G

Nets tryin to go all out :nerd:

**** em tho.

Between this, and trying to hire Phil Jackson, then hiring a coach a week after he retires, to the bombshell trade they made with no regard for the yoloness of it all,

Brooklyn is all PR  They obviously want to be that winner, that team with all of the glitz and the glamor IMO. Straight thirsty for the attention man

For the record I think they can be a top 2 team in the east with their lineup.

Damn, ain't heard the name Keith Van Horn in a minute  What's Kerry Kittles doing?

Kittles now works for the Nets as a part-time scout. Kittles is also a Merchant Banking Associate at Ledgemont Capital Group LLC and completed an MBA at Villanova University's School of Business.[1]

Simmons is great in moments.. not having a filter (for ESPN's standards) makes for some funny moments like his knee-jerk reactions to picks and trades "What?!?"

Other times when he lets his bias get in his way or when he forgets he's not in front of his computer, it just makes for awkward TV.

All I know is the ESPN basketball crew was never better than last night. Bilas as their expert who knew the players, Bill as the wildcard, Jalen singing randomly, and Rece giving the crew someone to look to.

Mikhail Prokorov has no ***** to give. Son wants the spotlight and a winner. And he will spend whatever it takes to get it. :smokin

"The Kings aren't willing to match increased offers for pending RFA Tyreke Evans and are prepared to lose him, according to Sacramento radio host Carmichael Dave."

Question. Why didn't they trade him? Some team would have shelled out a first rounder for him...

Man; and here I was thinking Reke was 'gon be the next Bron :smh:

every local person knows reke is trash. Im guessing team scouts did too. so the most kings would have prolly got was a second rounder.

whoever gets mini curtis payne is gonna be very disappointed

If Tyreke goes to a team with scoring around him he will flourish.

He has a great handle and vision but his shooting is still suspect.

Why do people always go overboard on this site. Tyreke Evans is more than a serviceable starter on 90% of the teams in the L. He's FAR from trash nowhere near what he should be but far from trash.

Based on his play the past year he'll be lucky if he gets 7-8 million a year... if i'm a veteran team i ABSOLUTELY take that risk... I wonder what his trade value is i would love to see him coached by doc or even Popovich.

ronho will be exposed

IF he puts up the same #'s ill be the first to swallow my words & give the lil $%&^& his props

but im 97.9% sure i wont
Here here. Its going to be a wonderful year watching him fail.

Reke should sign with bk and come off the bench with terry and feast against other bench players

Reke/terry/marshon/blatche/collins thats a solid backup core

the nets didnt have to give up marshon brooks?

Nah they did. That's the only gripe I have in that trade besides the picks. The rest is just meh. I see they kept the goon Reggie Evans tho

Yeah i just read they revised it and added marshon, smh only bench player that had some potential, i hope they re sign blatche tho

Rondo will demand a trade in about 5 months. Haha.

Ain't no way he's going to waste his prime playing with rookies and bums.

Rondos already wasting his prime if he doesnt have a respectable jumpshot this upcoming season

I just thought of the Combo of KG & Evans :wow:.... Feathers will be ruffled

That's that goon squad . Add Dre into that and aww man. IF (big IF) they can get it together, they might give Miami trouble up front. But they give up so much on other areas.

KG, Lopez, Evans, Blatche. Key phrase: Box out.

They got plumlee to grab some boards

Plumlee is a bum. He was suspect in college and is a bigger suspect in the NBA. He's going to fade. Name me ONE Duke player that ever boxes out and plays hard in the league? The closest is Carlos Boozer and he's a fraud down to his hairline b.
