Nate Robinson sucks? Ok

I mean I agree with everything you say except the first and last sentence. And "when motivated" is a big disclaimer.

I'm sorry but I just have a hard time seeing the positives. I know everyone likes seeing a short guy take and make 8 shots in a row without passing the ball and get the occasional block and dunk or w/e.

But personally I hate chucker basketball. Also, where you see "heart" I just see dumb-*** basketball IQ. This guy has been in the league too long to have not figured out how to play bball the right way and be a steady, reliable contributer.

You just wanna run around throwing the ball at the basket like a kid, without learning how to play D or pass or take good shots or contribute to the game like most guys who've been in the league that long, you shouldn't wonder why you've bounced around so much and can't get a good contract.

Nate isn't efficient.
He doesn't display a high IQ on a regular basis.
We know all of this.

But to say he SUCKS, is extreme man.

I feel you. I hate chuckers but you are slightly going overboard.

I FEEL you though.
I do

Well sucks is a subjective term- I'll give you that

That Jennings video... Wow. Those left hand layups are shocking.

I never liked Jennings, but man...I didn't know most of those things said in that video. Really opened my eyes.

Definitely makes more sense why teams are not pursuing him now.

:x at that nate robinson deal. he's not a player who can take over the team & lead on a consistent basis, but he's someone who can get going quick & get your team on a run. he can apply pressure on D & brings in a lot of energy. surprised with the money being thrown around this offseason that that's all he was able to get in a contract with denver.

damian lillard showing out at the team USA camp though :nthat: looking forward to what he has in store for the rest of that camp & in the future with team USA.

this. on a healthy contending team, he wouldnt get any major minutes. he is a definite spark when called upon, but that's really it. he may go a good streak every now and then, but you really cant count on consistency. so denver has ty, andre, and evan fournier that can all play that point position? :nerd:

Ty lawson and Nate Robinson will probably never be on the floor together but still gonna be fun to watch 2 PG's that can take over games

Btw, I cannot believe Archie Goodwin fell so far. Kid is 18 and showing no fear out there in the Vegas league. Love his game. So far, 3-4 years from now my prediction to be top 3 player from this class

Watching that video its just clear that Jennings basketball iq is piss poor on NBA standards, he could of used a few years in college but couldn't even qualify as an athlete :smh:

For some reason I could totally see them both on the floor together

A few names I've heard as Day 1 standouts from Team USA camp: Damian Lillard, Gordon Hayward, DeAndre Jordan AND collegian Doug McDermott.

As a Clippers fan, I'm borderline shocked that Jordan is mentioned in that tweet. We'll see if he can keep it up.

Agreed

Nate scored 23 in the 4th quarter of a playoff game. I don't wanna hear that he "sucks". He's instant offense.

Oh he did? No way- I didn't know he did that. That definitely proves he's a quality contributor who can score efficiently and consistently and help the team win in different ways.

I changed my mind, sorry. I didn't know he scored 23 in the quarter of a playoff game.

He also went 0/12 with 4 turnovers in 32 minutes in a playoff game this year. And got abused defensively, which is one thing he does do with consistency.

Nate Rob is a valued reliable backup. As long as you aren't counting on him to carry your team (like the Bulls pretty much had to do), then I don't see what any teams didn't pick him up faster.10-15 minutes a night for him at this stage of his career is worth a look, and I think more money than what he got too.

The fact that this handicapped bum Greg Oden is getting all this media attention over his "decision" where to play next season personifies the current state of the league and the scarcity of quality big men. That being said, I hope he chooses the Heat
