What did y'all expect Rose to say?

Had he said LeBron mogs would have ran with the "he's soft" "he's mentally weak" "no wonder he sat out, he should just retire" talk

Can't wait til he's back cookin on the league I swear....
Lol cook in the regular season yea.

Its cool, i was hoping i could find a stream or something, ima be at the gym to for work tho and we only have espn there

Kinda weird how espn isnt showing this any love

Because ESPN doesn't have the rights to the game (therefore they'll give zero love). Ultimately, it's because it's just a scrimmage among younger players.

All Team USA scrimmages and exhibitions are on NBATV though. Just know that going forward. The last time Team USA had a game on ESPN was the 2010 World Championships. I seem to recall ESPN carried every game except the championship, and Fox Sports randomly had the gold medal game (or it was the other way around). I just remember the gold medal game being a different network.

These new breed of Miami Heat "fans" have to be the worst people to talk about sports to in the ******g world. I'd rather get a 5 year old's opinion.

But about the Oden thing. I also don't know if he'd be too comftorable with every media figure being on him every single practice, game, post game, etc. This dude has basically hid and refused to give any interviews for a good minute now. I would think he would freak the **** out if he went from that to having 80 percent of his games on national television.

He's definitely gonna choose the place where he feels most comftorable to return as an NBA player rather than where he feels he can win a title.

It definitely won't be the next two lol. LeBron has played for the national team in 2004, 2006, 2007 (FIBA Americas, to qualify for Beijing), 2008 and 2012. Considering he's made Finals runs since 2011, and will likely make at least a couple more in the next three seasons (not to mention deep playoff runs since 2007), that's a lot of mileage. At a certain point, it takes a toll. LeBron has more than fulfilled his duty for the national team. That being said, I still think he comes back in 2016 for a third gold. Hell, even if he's riding five rings in a row, the opportunity for THREE golds is too much to pass up.

Man if he goes to Miami on a 1 year, rebounds/blocks well and wins a ring he's good money and he knows that. There's no better place to go, the media will still be all over the big 3, not on him. He's going to the Heat.

Greg Oden: the Decision Part II.

Thibodeau is definitely a little overrated. He hasn't won anything and he does run his guys ragged. Now obviously his defensive scheme is on point, but a a head coach does he really deserve to be in these discussions as a member of the top level? Lots of guys NT loves to hate on have made the finals and won more in the playoffs than he has: Scott Brooks, George Karl, etc. but the armchair coaching experts here are always telling us Tibs is wayayayayayY better than those guys.

To whoever said he should have taken over the Rockets after Van Gundy: No. Adelman did a fantastic job there and had them on the brink of taking out the Lakers and going all the way before Yao hurt his foot.

When we lose in the 2nd round I want you guys to remember that this is the only guy saying we're going to finish #1

I don't want to hear. "Clippers fans were talking about winning the west in the Summer".

If we do end up winning the west, feel free to screenshot this and call me out CFB
This

Clipper fans have been extremely level headed for this season.

Cfb is like the acb for the clippers.

Seriously. Where did dude come from?
Only recently seen him in our thread.

The story back home with the Thunder, though, isn't nearly as warm. Not after a tepid offseason in which Oklahoma City -- still facing steep luxury-tax concerns even after trading away James Harden last October -- let Kevin Martin go in free agency and just lost out to the Memphis Grizzlies in the race to sign free-agent marksman Mike Miller.

Now we're talking about Durant here, so there wasn't a single word uttered during Wednesday's session with the media signaling dissatisfaction with the Thunder's summer.

However ...

It certainly left you wondering when the 24-year-old, when asked to assess his team's business to date in July, offered nothing more than "I love it" before walking away from the assembled press pack to bring the interview to a halt.

Which is certainly not the norm with one of the foremost gentlemen in the modern game.

Because of the long-term money invested in Durant, Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka, Oklahoma City made the decision to settle for creating a trade exception to salvage something from Martin's free-agent exodus to Minnesota. The Thunder, by limiting themselves to low-cost moves in free agency, are thus putting the onus on Westbrook's recovery from knee surgery and the continued development of youngsters such as Reggie Jackson and Jeremy Lamb to enable their star trio to be sufficient to keep the club inching closer to a championship.

Yet it has to sting to hear the latest rumbles in circulation about Miller -- personally recruited by Durant to come to OKC after Miami let him go via the amnesty clause -- choosing Memphis in part because Miller sees the Grizzlies as closer to getting to the Finals than the Thunder.

We repeat: This is Durant. So it's a bit of a leap to outright say he's dismayed with developments in OKC on the basis of one walk-off answer. Many of the reporters around him, truth be told, broke out into laughter when Durant brought a halt to the question-and-answer session so abruptly.

Thunder officials can only hope Durant was simply in a rush to do what always wants to do most. Which is to say ... play.

Mike Miller made 73 3's in 900 minutes last season.

Bayless made 71 3's in 1765 minutes last season.

Pondexter made 60 3's in 1243 minutes last season.

Conley made 106 3's in 2757 minutes last season.

Tony Allen made 3 (THREE) 3'S in 2109 minutes last season.

That's how ****** important that Mike Miller signing is to this team.
I hope the guy gets to play the season out.
