Nets hype for an isiah Knicks type move?

Interesting.......

I'm not the biggest Simmons fan but I always felt he wasn't as bad on TV as some people made it seem. He was dragged down by the guys alongside him; Wilbon doesn't bring much to the table, and Magic never says anything that even casual fans don't already know. Half of Simmons's jokes fly over his head and there's just no chemistry. Simmons/Jalen/Bilas/Davis was pretty good last night.

Juice is not about to take only 3.5 million. That's a pipe dream thinking he ends up in the 305

But if the Godfather Riley pulled that off. I'd be all for amnestying Miller. :smokin :smokin :smokin

Mayo I'm assuming will be too expensive for the Heat. But if Riley pulled that off :pimp: :pimp: Would definitely improve the heat.

To me he either resigns with Dallas or goes to a team like Minnesota, who's desperately in need of a starting 2 and have went on public record saying he was the guy they are looking for this summer. Great complimentary piece to Rubio and Love. Plus Love and Mayo have a great relationship.

Do the Bulls have cap space for Mayo? It seems like he should be there, would fit perfectly

So improbably behind but apparently according to mr multiple sources Dwight isn't resigning with the lakers?

+ the casual and relaxed atmosphere of that setting fits right in with Bill's schtick. Back when he was The Sports Guy writing columns on Page 2, some of his best stuff would be the blog posts about the NBA Draft. He typed it up as the event went along so you'd read his natural reaction to everything.

You can't complain that espn is just a vessel for the nba and espn analysts walk the company line, AND hate on bill Simmons who says what he wants for the most part. I'd much rather have Simmons than a Broussard or Barry

I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet...

Dude's gonna need to resurrect Picasso in order to turn it into this...

thrilled about the move the nets made... we've been in win now mode for awhile & were never a team built for the future since taking on the massive contracts of wallace (now in boston), dwill, johnson, & brook, but this move puts us in an even better position in terms of the ownerships goal of winning in the present. we still were able to keep some key pieces on the bench as well, which im happy about.

even at pierce's & kg's ages, they were still productive last season & put up good numbers. this year, they won't have to carry the team as much, but can still provide a lot of what the nets struggled with last season. kg bringing in production from midrange & the paint, rebounding, high energy, & grittiness... pierce coming in & providing spot up shooting, scoring, & another reliable player besides joe johnson in the clutch. we still have some things to take care of (bringing bogdanovic in from overseas, developing some young guys, signing blatche, & addressing the backup pg position), & still have to fill in the coaching staff with kidd as a first year coach, but i like the current situation we're in & the move king was able to pull off.
