The Blake hate in general is crazy strong everywhere. An improving career 21ppg 11rpg & 4 apg PF that's 24 is overrated? Lmao. And Farrier better than Blake? Lemme guess Anthony Davis is too huh, and kyrie Irving is the best Pg in the world to y'all. Y'all ride so hard

people are stupid. they will make up anything to prove their point.

"but blake doesn't have any back to the basket game!!!" yeah? and he still puts up 21 a game shooting 54%. but yall are in love with marc gasol who put up 14/game on 49% shooting.

Blake is good but he is overrated

Steph, IMO, is an All-NBA caliber guard. Still, what else does he do better than Kyrie, other than shoot? As smart as Curry is, Kyrie's IQ and instincts may even trump Curry's. Two of my favorite players for sure.

pass the basketball, Kyrie still gets that tunnel vision on the pick and roll. Steph has much better vision and his shooting just stretches out the defenses.

Smh blake isnt even the #2 option on his team and you already know how he gets his points

Agreed. Half these dudes don't watch the game, like the poster admitted before. They just spit the same "all he can do is dunk" rhetoric. They'll take a quick glance at his stats and see 18 & 8..and claim he's regressing, when he only played 32mpg.

this is NT. people will say anything to discredit a player. "Blake can only dunk!" yet somehow, by only being able to dunk, he puts up numbers among the top PFs. as if there's something wrong with dunking the basketball  it's the most efficient shot you can get!

Blake gets buckets in the post a couple times per game but most of his points come from hustle and or cp feeding him easy buckets

Not to much skill in his game just hustle, strength, and athleticism

Overrated in what regard though?

If you've watched Blake and say that he hasn't improved since he's gotten in the league then that's blind hate and speaks volumes to how great of a PF he is. Not too many PF's produce more than Blake. I'm constantly confused as to why people on this site shoot him down so much when there aren't 4 other power fowards doing what he's doing, and he's playing on a loaded squad.

20, 3, and 10 for his career thus far and that's overrated? Really? Oh but what, it's all dunks right?

Agrees. I actually think Stephen is clearly ahead of kyrie as a pg. One thing Steph dosnt get praise for is his rebounding and steals. For a guy of his stature and athleticism, he over achieves in those categories.

so if a player has a better skillset and not as athletic as blake, but puts up lesser numbers, is player b better or worse than blake?

the game is about production. a 15 foot jumper counts the same as catching an oop. both count for 2 points. blake out produces a fair share of power forwards he's compared against.

Your right dude im not saying dudes are better than him just stating his game, dude is still a top 5 PF in my eyes just it'll be hard for him to be the best without him improving his skillset

some of yall trippin....Blake Griffin is a stud.

Is he perfect? no

Is he the best player in the nba? no

Is he a polished post player with his back to the basket? no

but....

Has he improved his game every season?  yes

and as a young athletic player with his potential, i feel like that is all you can ask.

but above all else this is why blake griffin has been an utter success:

Competition aren't circling the date and laughing at the Clippers anymore---they are a team that has the pieces; ability, youth, and now outside shooting and coaching.  and you can roll your eyes and laugh all you want -- none of that is happening without the arrival and improvement of BLAKE GRIFFIN.

theres a couple reasons why he receives as much hate as he does

a) impossibly high expectations

b) injury issues

c) flopping

d) he's been blessed with the tools that every fan dreams of / jealousy

Tell me how Blake averaged more points before CP3 for there? Lemme guess, Eric Gordon was setting him up for 22 a night lmao. Be objective buddy

Putting up 22 a night on a mediocre team is an accomplishment, damn do you just look at stats or look at the guys skill set? And top 5 pf? K love, duncan, pau, kg, zbo, aldridge,AD,lee>>>> blake

Shot more and played more minutes... 16.8 shots/game before CP3.. 13.4 shots/game last year.

Lol so you're not denying that he can get his.. on his own without being set up. All he has to do is play more minutes, which equals more shots.

I was answering your question.. If you want Blake Griffin as your #1 option on a team.. Bless you.

Regardless of where you rank him.

Idk how we forgot one of the biggest faults in his game is his defense

His help d is pretty bad and his post d is average at most
