Cousins went through the lane like a gotdamn tank.

Mullens' dunk was overlooked too. That was vicious as hell.

 You downplayed Mo williams when he was on the Clippers. Now you're excited about him.

Grizzlies never make a bad move

Did I say anything bad about Mo Williams? I know Memphis looked at him in 2007 and I was a fan. Either way, I downplayed a lot of guys on the Clippers but that doesn't mean I would not want some of them on my team especially when Memphis needs help in a certain area. Not to mention, I liked Mo Williams as an option after the playoffs this season. I guess since I downplayed Chris Paul in the series last year means I would not want him on my team?

Don't be upset at me that your team spent all that money on JJ Redick and still did not address any needs up front where the struggle lies. Good luck with Ryan Hollins playing the goon.

So, who repped him? 9 times out of 10, the stuff people claim I say on here is off.

Turns out, the front office was banking on Miller getting amnestied and was looking to get him all along. They were also waiting on everyone else to spend their money in free agency and see what was left over to add more to the roster (Williams, Udrih, West).

They sure did fool me. TA did not cost them a lot, Koufos has a solid contract, Bayless is only here for $3M, Miller came here for $1.4M and Mo Williams may end up in Memphis for no more than $3M probably.
MM would be a Thunder if our front office weren't cheapskates and refused to offer him the 2nd yr because the NBA wouldn't pay the vet minimum reimbursement on but 1 yr, even though the price difference is like ~300k.

But, just a while back everyone was telling me that it was not about the money. It was simply about where Miller wanted to go and where he felt gave him the better shot at making it back to the Finals. I stated my claims as to why Memphis would get him and it worked out. Memphis also just made a stronger pitch because Conley, Gasol, the front office and head coach were constantly contacting him.

Wish we could have landed the Star FA Miller. Game-changer.

Good luck living in Memphis.

Just for saying that, I bet Miller goes off against the Clippers next season.

Good luck living in Memphis? What does that have to do with basketball? You sound like that clown Simers.

Yea, the year he came to Memphis after Orlando. He kept it because he did not have to pay $20 million dollars for 2,000 square feet like he would in LA.

Not really trying to get involved in this because I think every city has its good points, but there's lots of reasons property values are so high in LA. Trust me.

Well of course.

Its just funny how people have this perception of Memphis like its a war zone here. There are many statistics out there that show Memphis as being terrible, but I have an uncle living in the south side of Chicago and he says Memphis is nothing compared to that war zone (I've been there plenty of times as well). Not to mention, if you've never been to the city and really checked it out, why even speak about it like you know? Come to my city and learn about the culture and I'm sure your opinion will change. There's a reason why the players who found a home here or played for this team loved it here for the most part. I've been out on the West coast and told people I was from Memphis and they thought I was about to shoot them  . Its not that serious.

Actually, I'm still surprised every now and then about how high the crime rate is in the city. I can go to some of the worst areas in this city and still feel somewhat comfortable. I don't feel like I'm about to get shot after I turn the corner though

camby back on the Rockets roster, morey is definitely going to deal Asik, I wonder which team?

Actually Asik being dealt cause of the Camby signing isn't definite at all. Remember, Camby didn't play much at all cause of injuries last year. Camby is there cause he's a vet, knows what's going on, and it's more than likely his last team in what's practically his home city. He'll probably have a scaled down version of Mutombo's role when he backed up Yao and (I think) Juwan Howard.

And the Hawks will make their usual forgone conclusion pedestrian playoff performance. Dont see how they wouldn't, even with some of those bottom eastern teams looking up.
