But I saw people in here saying Jeremy Lin was better than OJ Mayo though.

.... wow..
Yeah, because he is.

He's polarizing, partly because of the Linsanity hype (it seems like a reaction for some to go very strongly against hype just because), partly because he was overpaid and the way that whole off season played out and partly because he's seemingly folded under pressure at times.

Just imo.

Maybe... But guys here will go balls to the wall to defend worse players- Jerryd Bayless, Sebastian Telfair (talk about hype), etc.

Besides, he earned that hype by the way he played those few weeks. I think most could see it wasn't a great signing for Houston.

Anyone remember Flip Murray? He looked like an absolute star for a few months, then went on to have a solid career as a role player. Could be the same for Lin.

I agree.

Worst case scenario he's a solid starter/role player. As long as he can stay healthy and stay within himself he has the ability to be better than a lot of guys who get unwarranted support on here.

I like watching Norris Cole more than Mario M'FIN Chalmers >D

mario chalmers gets hated on but dude shows up and isnt afraid of taking the shot. i dont think he is any good if he were on another team, but he played a big role

even in the postseason............

Mario gets way too much hate...dudes hate like he is supposed to play like CP3, just because he is playing wit Wade, Bron and Bosh.

This is a classic example of this, OJ has the most bizarre cult-like following on here. He's not very good, plain and simple.

like someone stated chalmers fits and is ideal for what the Miami heat need.... but when needed to step up and come up big, or extend his game, he has shown in a playoff and finals level he can.

Chalmers just got lucky playing with 3 Top 15 players and the best player in the world currently. He's hit big shots ill give him that but he's also **** the bed tons of times and hasn't improved anything about his average game.
