But....Miller said one of the reasons why...nvm

BTW, Lin does not suck

It seems like you're either a superstar or a bum when it comes to NT.
Basically how it is in this thread, either a star or they say you "suck" ...got somebody in here defending Lin but says Rudy Gay plain sucks :smh:

Knick fans were hyping Lin.

The dude helped us out, but I dont know one Knick fan that was sad to see him go. Well, HTTB was hurt.

SAS pretty much summarized Knick feelings of Lin after he signed with HOU.

Very good read, P.

This stood out to me...

• The Thunder will pay Andre Roberson, the 26th pick in the draft, only 80 percent of his rookie scale amount, an alleged cheapskate move that will save them about $185,000 this season — at least when compared with the full scale amount.1

Why would Roberson agree to this? Unless there are escalators in years 2/3 that up the percentage of the money he SHOULD be getting as a 1st round pick.

Had no clue the Thunder were penny-pinching like this.

Just have to :smh: that Perk is still on the roster.

I do agree with the notion that the squad would have been much better with a trio of Harden/Westbrook/Durant (with guys like C.Landry or Bass as Ibaka's replacement).

JJs, Roberson is getting the money made up on the back end of the deal getting the full 120% in yrs 2 and 3. And penny pinching doesn't even begin to describe these dudes, and it even spills into their business practices like trying to trick all the season ticket holders into not coming to the party, because (IMO anyways) there was free snacks and drinks so for every person that didn't come, they save like $4 bucks on hot dogs and Dasani water. They sent us an email with a long boring *** story about Hasheem and like in the middle of paragraph 3 it's like "oh and don't forget to print your Thursday party tickets before Friday or you won't be able to," and most people I know who even intended to go figured they'd just print day before or day off liek with game tickets and it made no sense for them to expire 6 days early and for them not to do a better job diseminating that information.

I hope they win a championship obviously, but I'd say with all honestly Bennett and his boys don't deserve it, operating the way they do given the immense fan support we give them. They raise ticket prices every yr since 09, just as another example, all to make more money to not spend in free agency. And the above article chronicled the ~12mil + reimbursement. And what was our big FA haul with that? Ryan Gomes on a partially guaranteed deal. :rolleyes

Think about it if the other 4 teams have no interest 80% of a guaranteed first round pick contract is still better than 100% second round pick uncertainty.

Well damb. Only a matter of time that your main guys leave. KD seems like the type of fellow where he's loyal if you're doing at least the minimum it takes to compete. OKC ain't doin that

Damn. That's crazy. Let me ask you....if you were to give a %, how likely do you think KD will leave once his current deal is up? You'd have to think that his patience is being tested.

Thr problem was just letting a pretty big asset and solid young player walk for nothing. That's never a good thing.

But we've had this conversation a million times.
