harden doesnt want to defer to kd
no way he will defer to dwight

deferring to a center is different then deferring to a shooter

Dwight doesn't need the ball every time down the floor like a Melo or Durant. Dwight will get board and put backs.

I can't believe the Hornets declined Aminu's $3.5 million option. That should leave no doubt of Monty Williams' hatred of him, for whatever reason.

Even as something of a disappointment, he's still only 22, a freak, a solid defender and maybe the best rebounder at small forward in the league. Like you just give up on that (and with no current replacement).

dwight doesnt really have any pressure in houston to win immediately. they make it to 2nd round next yr and it's considered a success, especially in their first yr. werent the rockets the least experienced team in the league last yr? harden is already a top player at his position at 23 yo. if they land howard, they still got money to land another very solid player. they arent tied up financially at all.

la is championship or bust. dallas is in win now mode with aging dirk. there's gonna be a lot of pressure to win and we all know he doesnt do well with scrutiny.

I'm still iffy on Dwight man...

I kinda feel like dude will be a cancer to our squad. He RARELY gives 100%. I don't want someone on our team as a leader who doesn't play his heart out every game. He'll make us better, but will he really make us good enough to get to the Finals?

Meh, **** it. Get it done Morey :smokin

What worries me is Nash is a P+R machine. He made Amare, and he made Dirk's life a hell of a lot easier when he was there. You saw how much Dirk struggled without a guy to P+R with last year.

I can't even remember many instances where they ran a constant pick and roll for him. I don't know if its Nash, if its Dwight, or if it was MDA. But that worries me if I'm Harden.

:rolleyes

Houston has a very solid team WITHOUT Howard...

That's a first round team without D12 at best...with him they still will get scrubbed by the thunder and the grizz..."solid" for just making the playoffs

yes, thats all i was implying

they are NOT a championship contender... PERIOD

they are a good team in the west and in the nba, enough to make the playoffs easily but thats about it.

how many teams in the west are actual contenders? 2-3?
their goal isnt to win a chip next yr. nobody expecting houston to win one, but they will improve. that's the whole point, to be a better team and hopefully be able to contend for one during the duration of his and harden contracts.

btw, wouldnt be surprised if dwight got all four of them white girls pregnant :smh:

For some reason, Houston with Dwight does not scare me one bit as a Western Conference team.

I'm not sure the Rockets pace suit Dwight. That's a lot of running. It definitely would catapult them as a top 3 team in the west.

maybe they wouldn't have to run so much if they actually had something worth going to in the low post... >D

asik, greg smith, donatas motiejunas, terrence jones. which one of those 4s 5s are worth posting up? they had to run and gun because that's how the team was built. when they got into the half court it was a lot of drive and kick, isolation, pick and roll type ball because they had no other options

Dwight Howard and Dez Bryant's team just won the allstar Black Ops 2 competition in Anaheim about an hour ago

Ty Lawson and DeJuan Blair were on the opposing team

Just with a quick glance, i thought Dwight was finally holding a condom, as well as all of the women

I also feel like a lot of people are crossing their fingers that if Dwight comes here, it doesn't work out. Oh well, the amount of sheer fear if he does work out...the backpedaling...the feels :pimp: :pimp:

dwight in his last year with orlando and first year with la is night and day. you can see the difference in his game and you overstand if you evet tried to come back from injury. houston is a perennial 8th seed with no roster changes. with dwight they are still

8th seed with Dwight? LOLOL

Some of you sound salty that Dwight might come to Houston. Dwight, Harden, and Parsons is good enough to compete with anyone in the west. That's if Dwight plays to his capabilities.

Dwight will stay in LA, its his best option and they're offering him and his 8 baby mommas the most money. It's just a matter of time before those Phil Jackson talks come back up...

Basketball wise CP would end up with Indiana and Dwight would go to Houston. But that's not usually how the NBA goes. I see both staying in la
