You really think he's exciting? He's an unbelievable scorer and a great player, but I don't find his style of play particularly exciting. He's pretty much a jump shooter. Not too much to be excited about if you ask me, unless he gets on one of those crazy hot streaks and just can't miss.

if hes coming to town to play my team i wanna see him cuz you know hes one of them dudes who can have a big night on any given night

Outside of Calderon I've loved every move the Mavs have made.

We got Monta for 25 mil for 3 years.

He's still in his athletic prime and has never had a good coach in his career, he'll be the best scorer Dirk has ever played with and he's money on the pick and roll.

I just don't know how him and Calderon can play with each other.

Don't really like what the Mavs have going in besides Calderon and hopefully healthy Dirk. They got Monta for a good price but I don't like the fit and Dalembert is a question mark, Philly got his best years. The Bank of Cuban landed no stars to play with Dirk once again, however I like Larkin and Ledo but realistically in the West that team ain't beating nobody of note.

from what ive seen of calderon...he's a pass-first minded player...

i see that as a better fit than a ...

-baron davis (score first)

-steph curry (score first)

-brandon jennings (score first)

i think he'll be better off with calderon..a natural set-up man who can still hit open jump shots playing off the ball while monta goes.......well, monta

Oh offensively they will be fine its the other side of the ball where they will be the worst in the league.

^since he started coming into his own. He's an excellent passer. Maybe you haven't watched a lot of Indy games.

Typical NT extremists

, y'all are both wrong...he ain't excellent or terrible.

Decent passer with good vision but takes too many risks in traffic, sounds fair imo.
exactly. He can dish it but can make costly turnover trynna force **** sometimes

lol I wouldn't say all that, cp3 is an excellent passer, nash, rondo etc..... pg isn't even close to that level. he is an average/ok passer serviceable at best. And I had/have nba league pass (matter fact gave a lot of nters insight on how to get the premium package for free) so I watched them play a little throughout the season, he was good played pretty well in the regular season, and really stepped it up in the playoffs....Seems like ppl are taking that small sample of his play and act as if that's how he has played on a regular basis.

Why in the hell are the Bobcats in contact with Antawn Jamison?

Bulls, Clippers and Grizz are other suitors.

And Oden's people contacted Memphis again earlier in the week because he was still interested in coming to Memphis. That's who Memphis secret FA target is outside of Mo Williams. But, I don't think Memphis will end up with Oden because they really have no need for him. This is why its taking Oden a while to decide.

If Memphis just so happen chooses Oden over Mo, then Bayless stays and Calathes comes over. If they choose Mo, there is a chance of Bayless being moved in some type of package deal.

Jamison almost signed with Charlotte last season. He has interest in ending his career at home.

That's where his children are.

The 1 thing that mo is decent at is the 1 thing memphis needs

Mo Williams was the starting point guard for a team last year that just missed the playoffs in the Western Conference by a game or two. Averaged 13 and 6....pretty sure he doesn't "******g suck". Especially as a backup point guard. Would be good to see Mo back on a contending team. He'd definitely help stretch the floor for them.

And all of what you said doesn't take away from the fact that Mo Williams, does in fact, suck. He has sucked for years, will continue to suck, and nothing will change this. You can post stats, blogs, PER, whatever you want -- it is meaningless.

Delonte West > Mo Williams and it isn't close. Do the right thing, Memphis. Remember the Cavs.

Mo provides shooting and fills Memphis weakest position right now, backup point guard. Out of all the options available, he is probably the best one right now. I would like to have Delonte West, but the bipolar issue may be too much to handle. I think West fits more with the team (especially since he and TA are very close), he is a better defender and shoots the ball well. At the end of the day, you are getting a player that may or may not work out due to his disorder.

I'm ok with Mo because he's not going to be heavily relied upon. Give the Grizz 20-25 minutes a game, make a few 3's, run the offense, etc. I am concerned wtih his playoff play and I feel like that's where he will hurt the team the most. But, when looking at most combo guards in the league, the majority of them struggle in the playoffs in halfcourt sets.

Looking at their playoff performances, West is probably the better playoff performer. I guess another positive of getting West is that he will come here for the vet minium allowing the team to keep Bayless. He also will not command 20+ minutes a game.
