you see his 360 collection?

VC greatest dunk

Lol. Only on NT does Mo Williams suck and need to fade into bolivia. He is a more than servicable backup pg. Hell, I think hes one of the better backup PG's actually. There is plenty of value with a guy that can make shots, run the offense put pressure on the ball for 25mpg a night off the pine.

Did guy drop a video of Mo hitting a game winner and called him good, cuz of that?

I didn't see that, did I?

Paul George is OJ Mayo
Not sure about LeBron as a #1 option
Mo Williams made a basket once, is good.

Yeah....I miss the old NBA thread. :smh:

Make shots
run the offense
pressure the ball

When are you gonna talk about Mo Williams tho?

How do you view the backup PG's next year?

Jack (CLE)
Basic Game (DEN)
Bledsoe (I'm assuming he backs up Dragic?) (PHX)
Mo Williams
Devin Harris (DAL)
Hinrich (CHI)
Barea (MIN)
Lou Williams (ATL)
Reggie Jackson (OKC)
Collison (LAC)
Nate (DEN)

The only way to get any of these guys is via trade. CP, who would you suggest the Grizz go after as their backup PG if its not Mo Williams?

You seem to have a problem with Mo gotti lol. 44% 39% and 87% is what i call making shots for a 6ft pg. Running the offense? He's certainly capable of that. That year he was with the clippers, he came off the bench, played on & off the ball and pressured the ball pretty well. I watched alot of those games. He's capable and has done all those things in his time in the league.

Get Basic Game and give Tony Wroten some minutes.

Bruh, I'd rather play Conley 42 minutes a night than sign Mo.

I know you'll get him cheap, and he'll make a shot here or there and everyone that backs Mo will say see, see, looooook.

And then the playoffs will come. And Chester, myself and the ghost of OC will come out, point back, and just nod our heads.

You don't want Mo, he is worthless.

JRS is right, give Wroten the minutes. Let a young guy come in and learn, if he's truly terrible, get something at the deadline then. But give a young guy with upside a shot before a retread like Mo. It's like giving George Karl another chance....

Oh.

I personally think Cool Hand Luke (Ridnour) is a solid backup pg.

Speaking of Bledsoe, don't the Suns now have Bledsoe, Dragic AND Marshall? Go pry Marshall from them. Suns will give away anything these days, he's young, cheap, and hopefully not ruined yet by the stench of Suns basketball. At the deadline, they'll surely be selling, I'd go with him or Wroten over Mo.

That's me tho.

We won games with Fisher and Farmar as our PG's for years, I tend not to worry too much if everything else is solid and Memphis is. And Conley is better than either FIsh or Farmar were, so I mean, we're talkin a few minutes here and there. I would prefer a younger guy with upside for 12-15 minutes a night over a Mo who thinks he's still the #2 option after LeBron.

Yeah the 360 collection is nastty, I feel the 360 against the Mavs was slightly better

Mo Williams isn't terrible when you still have the Sebastian Telfairs and AJ Prices roaming Basketball Hades (FA)

Why put Basic Game on a team that struggles to shoot? Why play Wroten when he can't shoot? I was for Wroten after the playoffs ended, but the guy has yet to prove that he's ready to be the backup PG. This is why the team went after Calathes over seas and now looking at Mo.

Ridnour cannot be traded yet from my understanding since he was just traded to Milwaukee. Of course, Jack is not being traded here. And I would like Hinrich and he's probably the only other possibility, but what would the Bulls want in return for him? If you have to give up rotational players to get him, then is he really better to have than Mo?

Nate Robinson would have been perfect, actually. I'm not sure why the front office did not attempt to go after him, but there is obviously some advanced formula they are looking at with Mo  . But, I'm saying no to any guard that cannot shoot the ball. Memphis already has Tony Allen and Tayshaun Prince in the rotation. There should be no other player on the perimeter that are completely liabilities from 3 on the team.

And CP, you keep naming guys who cannot shoot at all  . If Memphis had a better two way player starting at SG and did not lack guys who could shoot the rock, then any of those guys woudl be fine. Memphis has ran Conley into the ground over the last few years and that's why he tended to struggle at the end of a series because he played far too many minutes. The team literally had no one to rely on behind him. Rookies and 2nd year players like Wroten, Marshall are not going to cut it. Miller would, but you're talking about the possibility of playing him with Tony Allen and Tayshaun Prince at times.

Mo Williams cannot be THAT bad man  . You've said it yourself. If a team is looking to win now, why go the cheap route? Your starting PG has been the only perimeter player capable of running an offense over the last 2 years. Mo, while not Chris Paul, is capable of running an offense for 20mpg. More capable than a rookie or 2nd yr player who needs development. At the end of the day, if Memphis loses in the playoffs its not going to be Mo Williams fault. I expect adequate play from him off the bench. When the starters go out, I don't expect the lead to dwindle. With guys like Wroten, Marshall, it will happen. Due to the lack of respect teams have those guys, teams will back off them and force them to shoot. Spacing will be horrid.

this reminds me of the Suns when they had Kevin Johnson, Jason Kidd, and Steve Nash together in 1996
Sam Cassell was also on the Suns for 22 games

What about Kendall Marshall, Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic reminds you of Kevin Johnson, Jason Kidd and Steve Nash?

The fact that they're all guards?

Yea the Suns said the plan is to play Dragic and Bledsoe together...

N You could get Kendall Marshall for a 2nd round pick right now....dont think too many teams interested or need him tho

I used to think mo williams sucked but like some others said after watching him with the clippers he's a lot better than I thought.
big shot maker
