What could greg oden have gotten had he gone elsewhere? Im honestly surprised he didnt take the money, but if he thinks he can ball out and get a nice contract next year, good for him.

I'm not sure if you watched Stack Jack play last season. He's finished. He has nothing left.

He'll be 35 by the time the playoffs roll around & most importantly his jumper has deserted him. It's time for him to hang it up.
I think that in large part had to do with the spurs and how pop operates. I think coach spo and the heat would in most part just let him do him.... he in a lot of ways reminds me of metta world... their temperamental and depending on the situation team they play for the better/worst ala like lamar odom.

It's so random who NT likes or hates on

This dude Oden ain't played since that mining accident in Chile (21 games that season) but a lotta people think he's gonna do well :x, 7 footers keep getting chances.

He makes Bynum look like Cal Ripken Jr so that's all we need to know.

Weeks ago people were trying to say how oden rather play in a small market or even a losing team like the kings, than play for the heat lol.

:smh: @ dude considering playing for a losing team!

The heat have a potential decent center now and still have some cash left to get another big so yes with all they have and keeping birdman they have a shot at three peating.

Prizbilla? :nerd:

You don't forget how to block shots and rebound and that's all they need from him.

This!

A few put backs here n there.

Some of yall acting like folks are calling him Wilt like. Knowing full well what the heat have been lacking since bron joined the team :smh:

"The cool thing about playing for the Heat is when you’re LeBron’s teammate and you screw up, nobody gets mad at you for missing a shot or turning the ball over — they get mad at LeBron for passing to you in the first place,” Oden joked.

If he stays healthy and is in good shape maybe after the all star break he might be able to start. If hes just able to protect the rim and block shots which is all we need from him and be athletic I don't see why not. And Move bosh back to his natural position. I'm looking ahead I know but if he's healthy I can see it

Nope.

Nobody said he would be Wilt.

Maybe Bill Russel, but that was probably 8 years ago.

Pat Riley
I was gonna come in here and say some slick **** about Oden, but I saw this .gif of The Don stylin' and profilin' and realized it's pointless.

Discounted.

It's just funny to me with how critical NT is about any and everything , but a guy who hasn't played a decent amount of games in 4 years gets some benefit of the doubt.

Must be a nice guy or have a weird NT cult following because I just don't see it.

And the Heat ain't making it to 4 straight, not happening.....complacency , injury , luck etc something's gonna catch up to their &$$ I hope :smh:.

True but that will take time to come back and between Wade, Bosh and Bron idk where his shots are going to come from except off rolls to the basket and putbacks. I'm just looking forward to see if he can be the inside defensive presence they've been lacking even though they are still a great defensive team.
This could turn out to be great coup for Riley and Co.
he also has a solid post game. He is very skilled offensively.

From what I understand, Mo was asking for $2-3M from Memphis and a multi yr deal (2 yrs with the 2nd year possibly being a player option). He also wanted 6th man type minutes.

Keep hoping lmao

Also the Heat were the favorites for the title next year with or without Oden.

The only question mark they have is Wade's knees but regardless they have the best player in the game today, continuity, great defense and shooting which are the most important things.

Exactly

I agree with Stephen Jackson in Miami. I like his temperament and disagree that he is done. He shot 61% from 3 in the 11-12 season
