1. The whole notion of "deserved" is absurd, in regards to anything in sports. The reason he won is because there was no clear-cut favorite that season, and he carried his team to 62 wins, 21 games better than the previous season. Maybe if LeBron doesn't create the Big 3, he wins that year being The Man in some other city. But he made his bed that year.

Lebron would have 5 MVP's right now if the voters didn't hate him that year.

I don't care what stats or quotes you wanna show me...John Wall is the prototypical AAU-type point guard, and that's not a complement. That style of play is never going to win you games in the NBA.
..

With the talent around him that is currently around him of course he isn't going to "win you games in the NBA." You can't say what will/won't/doesn't win you games in the NBA is the team is already untalented man. If Wall was the point for a better team, not sure if you would be saying those words.

But I don't expect Wizards to do anything. Not sure why folks have them a no-doubt playoff mob.

I think Wall will continue to put up good stats on crap teams for the rest of his career, as will Cousins. Not saying they aren't talented players, they just aren't winners, leaders or who you want to build your team around.

Say a little bit later into their careers both of them get traded to more favorable winning situations with a couple other stars, vets that can control the team and in which they aren't the first or maybe not even second scoring option and that can change though.

So Kyrie...who's team has been just as bad if not worse than the Wizards...is a winner right?
Mane this **** is crazy...ppl talking bout the Wiz shouldnt have giving that contract to Wall cuz he doesnt win...but Kyrie, the player that misses games just like Wall and his teams suck is definitely a better player and on another level? :smh:

Couple Wiz fans i know were legit excited when they drafted Porter, talkin bout thats the piece that gets the squad a 6 or 7 seed ....tried to tell em they need a full healthy year from Wall, Nene, Okafor and consistent play from Beal/Webster and somebody off the bench just to get in the playoffs, Porter aint doin **** this year he gotta sit back and watch

Porter can already shoot and defend at the NBA level and he fits perfectly next to Beal and Wall. All he's going to need to do is knock down open shots and play defense, Webster isn't a long term solution at the 3 but Porter can be even though he'll never be a star IMO

Im talking bout this year, Webster is better than Porter right now...Porter wont be much of a factor this season
