Parker's speed & quickness are second to none, but he's not athletic?

But anyway, I'm done arguing about Wall. My guess is a lot of these quotes are gonna be amusing when someone brings them back up about 8 months from now.

See, I view CP3 more of a shifty type player than outright quick.
And his end to end speed isn't on the same level as Wall, TP, Rose, and Westbrook.

I don't view CP3 as an "athletic" player.

But as you said, he is older now.
This may be the case NOW.

Before his knee injury I would definitely view him as athletic.

Also, Lillard does not play with more poise as Wall. Lillard's shot selection can be eratic at times. He often settles for long pull up 3's like chauncey billups, who I think is a comparable player down the line. The wall slander is crazy. A young, athletic and skilled pg..whos major weakness is shooting. The turnovers are something that all young players struggle with. But he does bring alot to the table

Lawd we need the season to start. Went from arguing kobe/lebron to arguing john ******g wall! Jus wait for the season and see, we've haven't seen enough to say hes great but have seen enough to kno hes not trash.

If you have to rely on Nene and Emeka Okafor as your starting front court in the year 2013 your team is not making the playoffs. Neither one averaged over 9 rebounds a game last year. They would have to have flashbacks to like 2009 to get anywhere with those dudes. Nene misses a big chunk of games pretty much every year so you're kidding yourself if you think he's even gonna stay healthy. And Martell Webster is your starting small forward? Come on man...the "talent" on that roster is not very good at all besides Wall and Beal. They really have no type of winning experience either unless you wanna count Nene getting to the Conference Finals once with the Nuggets.

I'm gonna be honest, even the Bobcats and Magic have more talented rosters. Just take a look for yourself.
:smh: Just Wall, Beal, Nene and Okafor are better than both those squads
What We Know About the New Suns Uniforms; Coming Aug 15
The Phoenix Suns announced their new uniforms will be unveiled at a fashion show (because, really, that’s what a new uniform unveiling is despite what most men would like to think) in Phoenix on August 15th.

Various social media accounts operated by the Phoenix Suns have been posting teaser graphics for the better part of the last month, we’ve assembled all those graphics for you here in this post.

First, what we know is the home uniforms will be white and the road uniforms (despite the heavy push for black and orange) will remain purple – as proven in the photo below:

This teaser graphic shows a purple road jersey with diagonal wordmark on front

That graphic also shows the front jersey script goes up diagonally from left to right, similar to how the Suns uniforms of the 1990s were.

The home white uniforms will feature “SUNS” across the chest, also diagonally from left to right, in orange with black trim.  I’m not seeing any traces of purple on the home uniform despite it’s overwhelming prescence on the road jersey:

The “S” from “SUNS” on the front of the home jersey

We also know the home uniform will have an orange collar:

Orange collar around the neck of the home Suns jersey for 2013-14

With an orange stripe running up the sides:

A single orange stripe goes up the sides of the Suns new home jersey

What that photo above also shows is that there won’t be those sun streaks running up from the side of the jersey like I theorized in our post about this last month… but then again, there’s also this teaser graphic, which I’m thinking might be on the shorts?  I’m not sure:

Are these sunstreaks on the shorts? Bottom of the jersey? Can’t place ‘em but love their inclusion in the new set

Speaking of the shorts… the secondary S-sunburst logo will be on the front waistband of them:

The new secondary logo is going on the front waistband of the shorts

And it looks like this fancy sunburst design will be on the sides of the shorts, here’s a look at the road set:

Retro-inspired sunburst logo, appears to be on the sides of the bottom of the shorts

Finally, the numbers, here’s the only picture we’ve seen of the new uniform numbers, black on the home and white on the roads:

New Suns uniform numbers, an all-black number on the home? Eh.

It appears as though we’ve gotten a good idea of what the new set will look like but we’ve been surprised before, especially with that photo with the sunburst streaks shown earlier in this post.  We’ve also heard that there will be an orange alternate uniform as part of this set but we’ve yet to see a teaser photo from the Suns showing any signs of that.

I guess we’ll have to keep a lookout at the unveiling on the 15th.

He was the 3rd best SG in the league when healthy IDC what anyone says, I liked him more than Wade at times but I know that wouldnt be the prevailing opinion on the matter.

3rd best?

We're just gonna act like Reke, ginobli, reddick, korver and rip Hamilton weren't breathing? Oh, okay brah, I see wut u did there.
sarcasm? tell me this is sarcasm
rooburger pls

So John Wall makes more than Tony Parker, Steph Curry, Jrue Holiday, Mike Conley, Rajon Rondo, Mario Chalmers, Damian Lillard, and Kyrie Irving, and the same as Russell Westbrook? 2 of those guys are still on rookie scale, admittedly.

By my estimation off top, only ones who make more now are Deron Williams, Derrick Rose, and Chris Paul; and we're really trying to justify this off them winning a few games at the end of the season and still not sniffing postseason in the Eastern conference?

Lol, you said second to none, and in the same post you brought up a person who's quicker and faster than Tp.
TP reached 21 miles an hour on the court last year, he was the fastest out of the players that the SportVU cameras measured. But fine, instead of second to none, how about he's in that top tier of speed/quickness since you want to be a stickler.

What is the punchline here? Anybody clue me in? Why the **** I seein Korver, Rip, Reddick, etc with Roy and Wade?

Somebody that speaks dumb, please fill me in.

This may be the case NOW.

Before his knee injury I would definitely view him as athletic.
Even at CP3's peak, I wouldn't put him in the athletic freak group with Rose/Westbrook.

Hell, at his peak he wasn't more athletic than TJ Ford and/or Marcus Banks.

Why even mention them if they are on they're rookie scale? And Curry broke out after he got his extenstion. He was veiwed as a ty lawson type player. Conley was largley viewed as a almost a bust until he broke out after this season, and he may have reached his peak. Chalmers? lol. Point is, its easy to view contracts in hindsights years after players signed. If wall goes on to be a top 5 pg, nonone will be questioning his contract.

I'd look into the circumstances that made guys like Curry, Rondo and Conley super values more than looking at how Wall got his extension.

That's just me though.

Agreed. They are on another level. TJ ford was the fastest player with the ball ive ever seen. Mean vision too. Devin harris a close second.

It really bothers me that people don't understand CIRCUMSTANCE when comparing player contracts. It isn't as simple as Contract of Player A vs. Contract of Player B. Team need, situation, date of signage all play a role. Also, how desperate is that team to keep THAT player.

Example, Wall might not have gotten that much if he were to sign with another team but since the Wizards NEED him to build around him, they are more willing to give that up.

Just like females.

If Kobe (equivalency of a good team) had a date with Kyla Pratt, he doesn't have to pay as much as I (normal dude, bad team) might have to spend more $ on a date with someone not even close to Kyla.

Now does that mean my girl is a better quality girl than Kyla? No. It just means MY situation causes me to spend more on her than Kobe's situation causes him to spend on his girl.
