Royce actually had game though.. it'll be a damn shame if he can't get it together

Dude is gonna be 50yo telling his (dozens of) kids "I coulda been THAT dude" :smh:

? They aren't even remotely similar...

Mayo and Derozan while not reaching their potential thus far, have had solid pro careers. White at this point would be lucky to get to their point. When he got to the D league, as you said he stunk it up. He was unremarkable to say the least.

I would have said Lamar Odom with a more of an emphasis on a post game for his potential, but Boris Diaw was a good one.

odom and diaw is going pretty far i would say...diaws was balling for the bobcats plus always shows up during international play.
 
That's the thing about Royce tho..it's what made him special--there isn't really anyone to compare him to.


Go watch his highlights from last summer SL (with the Rockets..there's a particular game where he went off) to see what I'm talking about. Admittedly...it was just summer league and the competion was ehhh , but I swear I began to root for the kid after seeing the way he played that day.

The way he rips rebounds down and just takes off ...with the vision, skill and selflessness to drop a pinpoint dime to the right player, at the right time. Nasty

He got serious ability...I hope he can get out of his own head and conquer his demons.. We all got em

BORIS DIAW DID ALL OF THESE THINGS.

People are really letting their imaginations run wild with a fat guy who played 14 games in the d-league.

Believe it or not..people are allowed to have their own opinions. If he reminds you of Boris diaw --fantastic...Boris was and still is a solid player in his own right.


But ironic as it may be...I like Royce attitude and demeanor when he brings it more than I like Boris Diaws lack of aggressiveness and softness.

Also yeah he's played 14 d league games..I think I mentioned that. But Boris diaw was not as highly regarded coming into the draft as Royce white. You can laugh but at the end of the day if the anxiety problems weren't apart of his daily life...he would've been a top 5-10 pick based on his talent and what he accomplished in college. Not 14 d league games

16th vs 20th pick? I think your memory is foggy, people thought Boris could PG like full time at 6-8.

I think people are totally exaggerating how much the anxiety thing effected his stock.

He's Borris Diaw, and anxiety or not, Royce White can't shoot a lick, so really he could only hope to be as good as Borris Diaw in his prime.

My memory is just fine..he went much lower than many people who actually live the business projected him to go. His ceiling is high....he's still a kid--I love how you have him all figured out already though. You seem so sure of yourself--yet you are just as clueless as us all. Victims of the moment.


Lets see if he can get his mind right. Alot of young talented players in this league get written off prematurely, only to prove critics wrong later... But shoot we all ready know
