So you know the whole Tracy Mcgrady wanted his own team so he left the Raptors thing? Well apparently thats ********.

Butch Carter (former Raptor coach) said yesterday that Tracy Macgrady had handlers who were paid a percentage of his agents commissions on the Adidas contracts to steer him out of Canada to Orlando, Adidas had been investing in him since high school and they wanted him to be in an American market.

Apparently he's seen the paperwork, and the guy admitted to him years later... :smh:

I thought that was interesting.

Tracy and Vince would have been vicious.

part of it was actually tracy wanting to be THE guy. i remember seeing an interview long time ago where he said it was uncomfortable at the end of games because he wanted to take the shot and Vince was getting the opportunities

Im aware as I just wrote, Butch said he thought thats what it was at the time, but he learned later from some of the agents themselves that it 90% pressure from Adidas and his handlers that convinced him that he needed to go to Orlando

Is it too early to make pre season predictions?

Osh Kosh Bosh you have a source on that? Nice find.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason why there wasn't an attempt to get Dwight from Orlando, to Chicago.

KD will get MVP unless he gets injured or the Heat win 70. Voter fatigue is as real as it gets for Bron at this point even though he's probably going to be even a little better than he was last year. If KD puts up 27/7/4 on 50 40 90 I got no problem with it, hope we can see the OKC/Heat rematch that we were supposed to get last year, shouts to Pat Beverly.

It will be hard for KD to win this year simply because there will be more competition. Harden, Dwight in Houston, the possibility of Curry, Rose, even his own teammate and other obvious players. Factor in that OKC may take a step back record wise next season, it would be hard to see it happening. OKC would have to be #1 overall or at least #1 in the West.

I love Curry but he'll never win an MVP come on now

Houston added great pieces but they wont be dominant right away, OKC with Westbrook and Durant healthy is the best team in the west. The only other competition for him is CP3 and Bron

5 dollars at the door, right? How likely are my chances to get in if I get there an hour or two early or are people already lining up in the morning?

Yes, on the price. I have no clue how crowded it'll be and when. First game is at 1, so I'm guessing you'd better be in the gym for that and just wait it out. I'm gonna drive by around 9 or 10 am and see if there's a line. I'll be over in that part of the city anyway.

Tristan Thompson is making just a minor, small little tweak to his game this summer.

He's switching which hand he shoots with.

*yawn*

Ok, we will see  . The gap between OKC and the rest of the teams in the West last season was not wide at all. Miami had a 12 game gap from the 2nd seed. OKC had a 4 game gap from the 5th seed.

The Thunder will be fine in the regular season. They should be a top 2-3 seed as long as they're healthy. I'm not sure how the loss of Martin is going to effect them night to night, but they're offense should be very good more times than not to go along with their defense.

Well how much did he really want to be "THE guy" if he was planning on teaming with Grant Hill?
