Ben Gordon on the Bulls was instant buckets, ***** hit 9 three's consecutively in a game.

I remember watching him come to the Garden and giving ****** work hitting game winners and ****. Dude been in basketball purgatory since Detroit

Don't understand the hate for Waiters on here. He's only 1 season in and has proven thus far to be a very productive player.

Ben Gordon used to be so cold

to me this was one of the great playoff games in nba recent history

Yes but ultimately he's a streak shooter who overrated his value. Well, he got paid like a starter... Clearly didn't work out.

Could be a great 6th man for a contender though

Being a UConn die-hard living in the Tri-State, went to one of those games at MSG where Ben was in Chicago and hit the game winner.

After the game, me and my dad just walked back to Grand Central muttering, "Ben effing Gordon!"

Dude can really burn off the bench, Charlotte isn't the spot for him right now.

On 41% from the field and 31% on threes, not really, especially when you combine that with atrocious defense. His first half of the season was a disaster on both sides of the ball. He was a little better offensively in the second half but he's far from "proven" anything.

Even if he pans out and becomes more efficient, I'll never "like" the pick because Drummond seemed like such a no-brainer. Pair your future all-elite PG with the next great big man prospect? I make that choice every day of the week. Of course, the Cavs weren't the only team to miss on Drummond, but he would have been perfect there.

Plus I thought the Cavs should have nabbed Jonas the year prior. He's poised to breakout this year, while Thompson is learning how to shoot with his other hand.

Dion Waiters is a poor mans D wade. Only difference in career path is that Wade got to play the PG in his rookie season.

And now Waiters will be playing more off the ball unlike last season when he was taking turns with Kyrie.

15 a game from your statting 2, let alone a rook, is being productive p.
Real talk, I'll take 15ppg from a rookie all day. Dont understand why theres not much love for Thompson either. Son avgs a double-double basically with room still left to grow. I honestly dont think he can produce those numbers now since Bynums in town.

Thompson is underrated, your right.

This is probably around the time when some announcer crowned him Air Gordon, thus killing the rest of his career.

NbaTv finally putting playoff games on other than Heat/Spurs. Boston/Cavs are on right now, and last night Boston/Bulls were on. When I originally saw the latter, I was so disgusted when Noah nearly ran full court and dunked all over Paul Pierce.

A moderately explosive Perkins, and Shaq/Antawn Jamison with Lebron

He was my fav college player when he was at UConn, dude was killing em in that baggy 3XL t shirt

I followed his whole career in Chicago because we used to get Bulls games on WGN where I lived.. he looked like he was next up for a min, people used to call him "Ben Jordan" and the broadcast would put up stats comparing his clutch 4th quarter stats to MJs

Unfortunate what happened to his career.. :smh:
