The Lakers will also be adding a black jersey to their uniform rotation next season, according to a league source. The alternative uniform will be part of the league's city pride series, joining the Detroit Pistons' upcoming "Motor City" uniforms and the Portland Trail Blazers' "Rip City" set, but unlike the others, it will still say "Lakers" across the chest. The lettering and numerals will appear in purple with gold outlines and the rest of the jersey material will be primarily black, with some gold accents, the source said. It will not have sleeves, the source added.

Finally some nice looking Laker Jerseys. The world has been waiting for this for so long

Hibbert out there looking jacked! Had no idea dude's arms were that big. Lookin like Shaq at lsu.

Dude has the potential to be the best center in the league for a cool minute.

Roy made the biggest transition in ability from hs to the pros that I've ever seen.

I don't think ya'll understand how trash this ***** was in AAU/HS. Georgetown gave him that super soldier serum they give all their big men.

Dude, he couldn't even run, let alone pivot down low lol

I always liked his potential in the pros due to how hard he worked in college to even get to the NBA. Glad to see him get this far.

Just watched MJ win his first title against Magics Lakers

In the post game they talked about the torch been passed from Magic to MJ and Jordan talked about how he LOVED THE COMPETITION.

Something missing today.

Edit: also spoke about when he was first drafted they "started from the bottom." :pimp:

That competitive aspect has been making a comeback. It's too bad we missed an entire season of Rondo vs. Rose, because those guys hate each other. That's just one example.

These ppl don't know man.....

Tracy was better than Kobe 03-06. Kobe HATED playing Tracy because Tracy could score better than him and was bigger and when Tracy gave an effort, he could lock people DOWN.

DEAR GOD you HAVE to be joking especially that last part

I left Jay off the list because of the manslaughter, didn't want to run the risk of the piece being flagged. Same with Michael Ray Richardson because of his banishment. I probably could've included Richardson but whatever, rather be safe than sorry.

Why would you get flagged for that? He WAS one of the 30 best players in Nets history. It's like making a list of all-time great USC RBs and leaving OJ off because of his legal issues.

*Roy Hibbert ran like a baby deer when he first got to G-Town. His development over those 4 years was insane. He's got a great work-ethic.

*look at HTTB tryin' to sneak in that Melo photo. Guy has no shame :smh:

I heard he couldn't do ANYTHING related to basketball at georgetown early, like literally he knew nothing couldn't go up and down the floor.

From that to 72 mil contract while shutting down the paint for the best player in the league. :smh:

That gives hope to 7'4 Sim Bhullar at new mexico state.

Even his progress from Freshman to Senior year was :wow:

But I thought it would end there and he wouldn't be able to keep up in the league...getting to where he is now is honestly mind-boggling.

Roy Hibbert is like the exception that will cause GMs to invest in terrible project centers for decades to come.
