That team was good but not great enough to advance past 2nd round except in 1 year I think. Hawks of that era. Speaking of that team, where is Jim O'Brien now?
 
There's no point in even responding to anything that CertifiedFlyBoy says at this point. Still would like to know how old the kid is though.

True but that doesn't mean that he is any more effective or valuable than Russ. Any player besides Bron and including Rose would be a second option to KD. If you take Russ off of the Thunder they are worse off than the Bulls without Rose. Also if individual defense enters the equation, once again, Russ is better.

I don't know what New Orleans got brewing. You talking Jrue, Gordon, Evans and Rivers. Jrue and Gordon should definitely get 30+ minutes and Tyreke with at least 25. That leaves only about 11 minutes for Rivers and that's with Jrue and Gordon on the low end of 30.

I'm iffy on what to expect out of Calathes next season. It seems like the front office is really looking for cheap production with Calathes, Akognon and re-signing Leuer long term. Calathes seem a lot quicker than expected. David Thorp mentioned in an interview that he has the same quickness as Jrue, which I found hard to believe but it may be true.

wait wut? so having kd and no rose, no westbrook, just KD means they would finish better than the heat, knicks, indiana or bk?

we saw how terrible okc was w/o him in the playoffs, the bulls made it to the playoffs w/o rose...

like dude said anyone not named lebron is durants 2nd option

so russ is a 2nd option, playing in a tougher conference, and yet he still compares to rose

the last thing you want to do is start hypothesizing about russ in the east

what im saying is you think that okc team is worse than indiana, bk, NY, and chicago without Russy? a team with the second best player in the nba by a LARGE margin.
