If only he could collude with the judges :smokin

I don't even buy the he couldn't win he's not creative angle. They rig it for Blake but not the face of the league?

Can't believe people actually thought LeBron would ever compete in one.

It sucks, too. He's always considered himself to be above All-Star Saturday festivities, which is a disservice to the game. Jordan, Kobe and Dr. J (all Top Ten players) competed in dunk contests. Hell, Larry Bird went out and competed in three point contests just because he wanted to prove he was the best (and won the first three). LeBron was so worried about his brand that he wouldn't subject himself to that stuff. I know it's because he knows he couldn't win a dunk contest (he's not creative). But at least make it interesting, and have people tune in.
THIS

i think these are rig too

tired of the jump over people dunk NEXT

I'm still holding out hope that LeBron will dunk, this is the last year though, if he doesnt do it this year then I dont want to see it. He'll have crossed the threshold of having his "best days behind him" seeing as how for some reason people think being 30 means that you cant jump anymore and then it would just become devalued if he competes. If we won "They handed it to him" if he lost " He's 30 did you expect him to win?"

i agreed with you on that

kenny and blake smh

lmao @ Kenny saying mcgee had on runner up shoes

rigged o yea how was blake going to lose with a car coming out :smh:

But what is a dunk contest but a fast break? I still think he would wow people.

Lebron doesn't have the flare/body control to wow anybody. No one wants to see a stiff off the glass one handed jam in 2014^. Hes more of a in game dunker. If he would've entered his rookie year than maybe but anything he can do has been fine better.

LeBron has done dunks in pregames that would win dunk contests some of these past years. He really has nothing to gain. He loses and people will criticize him forever, he wins it and they will complain he only won it because of his name

Boooo Lebron and his fugazi promise and

I never thought he was serious when he said that. When he doesn't participate in it, it makes him look like a sucker.
nate rob really is an incredibly undervalued athlete
No he isn't. I never forget that he also can play football.

When does Lebron dunk on anybody? There is only one dunk that sticks out in my book. It was the first game of the season and he yucked on Tim Duncan. That was legit. That Jason Terry and John Lucas III dunk don't really count. I always wanted him to go hard and flush on somebody, like how Kobe christened Dwight to the league.

theres also the one on the pistons that first year he made the finals, and one over kg. both were

 dunks

these days he just sticks with the layups, he doesnt have that kemp/vc/jordan/frobe "if you put your hand in the way of this dunk im going to break your fingers off" mentality

people typically move out of the way, but KG, Rasheed Wallace, Ian Mahimni, Tim Duncan, Lamar Odom, DeSagna Diop, Alonzo Mourning, and James Johnson have all caught it. Probably more if I sit and think hard about it. Kats ain't exactly lining up to contest LeBron at the rim

this season alone

meh boring watching the same open fastbreak dunk every time. harrison barnes dunk, blake griffin over mozgov, kobe over josh smith, kd over mozgov (i think it was him) all >> anything lebron has done post cavs.

and this is coming from someone who loves every other aspect of lebrons game

Ok, I just looked up those dunks and the KG one is the one I wouldn't really count. He half jumped but still got caught out there. Idk, the fact that I have to youtube his dunks (since doing that, I do rememebr watching those games) is a problem. Maybe I just don't like his style of dunks, I tend to like aggressive dunkers that seek out victims ala Mike on Patrick Ewing, Kobe on Yao, or Shaq on David Robinson in the all star game etc
