If it isn't broke....don't fix it.

82 games is love. The hell you guys want less basketball for?

I personally dont think that the amount of games is the problem.  I think the way the games are spaced out IS the problem.  Most specifically the playoffs.  There is absolutely no reason there cant be playoff games back to back nights.  The fact that a 7 game series could take two weeks is absurd to me....and is one of the reasons why the NBA season is dreadfully long (calender wise).

And before someone chimes in about TV and money....yes, I am fully aware the NBA is a business.

I'm with you. I'm good with 82 games. That said, I wouldn't be against the 1st round of the playoffs going back to 5 games. I don't see it happening though.

i agree. this seems like the most fair way to distribute the games for both teams

i do think that regular season games should be reduced about 10. too many injuries

Reduce it by 10 games so the players can get hurt deep in the playoffs instead of the regular season. Nice..

I think it would be great for the NBA to push it back till Christmas. I love NBA but too many meaningless games damper the excitement for each.

I think the NBA should change the playoff games back to what it was in '84 - '03

5-7-7-7

I'd like to see best of 5 again in the first round. More chance for upsets. NBA too greedy though. They already stretch the hell out of the playoffs. Can't give up that tv and sponsor money.

i don't think you understand

Because it didn't make sense.

Most injuries are inevitable, I rather see someone get hurt in the regular season than to have someone get hurt in the playoffs and cost their team a potential ring. Reducing games will not prevent injury, just the time in which it happened.

Hopefully Blake and Dream can link up at some point in his career. Would do wonders for his game on O & D.

the earlier the better.

dwight would have been so much better if he worked with the dream from day 1. i can put a lot of money on it.

he was a young kid and clearly had the drive to become a great player. hes just a fool now :smh:

How many more years do you think Lebron will be the best in the league for before Durant takes that title? I think Durant can realistically be the best player in the league within the next 2 years.

When Lebron changes his style of play due to age or injury but even still KD will always be #2.
