"SO?" LOL straight thuggin on those little boys

Those Danny Green shots. I did wish he was on the team then too.

^^^ I like how S-Jax was saying it wasn't that bad because he "didn't punch" Francis. Yeah, choking a dude is much better than punching them.

S-Jax sounding like Martin Lawrence and Will Smith in Bad Boys 2.

Personal experience says charm works on a girlfriend's mother. Fathers are tougher depending on their love for sports and attachment to their daughter.

By Tim MacMahon | ESPNDallas.com

The Mavericks signed forward Devin Ebanks to a non-guaranteed deal, essentially inviting him to training camp.

The 6-foot-9 Ebanks played three seasons for the Los Angeles Lakers after being selected with the 43rd overall pick in the 2010 draft. He has career averages of 3.6 points and 1.9 rebounds in 63 games.

The addition of Ebanks gives the Mavs 19 players under contract, including 15 with guaranteed deals.

Report: Nerlens Noel to sign shoe deal with Reebok

Kurt Helin Sep 13, 2013, 5:57 PM EDT

The conventional wisdom is big men don’t sell shoes, attacking perimeter do — Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Derrick Rose.

But Nerlens Noel, the center out of Kentucky who will play with the Sixers once he gets healthy (remember the knee injury last season) thinks he can be the exception to the rule.

Noel has agreed to a deal with Reebok, reports SLAM. Reebok is trying to up its NBA presence and is reportedly going to add a few other players to its roster (it already has a handful).

Rookie center Nerlens Noel has tentatively agreed to an endorsement deal with Reebok, according to sources within the company….

“I don’t think I’m just a prototypical big man,” Noel said when reached on the phone at the shoot. “I think I’ll be able to sell shoes.”

Maybe. Noel was talked about as a possible No. 1 pick because of his potential as an athletic, shot blocking big who could run the floor and fit in a more modern offense. However, on draft night he fell all the way to No. 6 where the Hornets drafted him then traded him to the Sixers as part of the Jrue Holiday deal. Philadelphia is a perfect fit — they are rebuilding and don’t mind struggling this season, so Noel can take his time getting back on the court.

When he does, he’ll be wearing Reeboks.

Other guys wearing Reebok this season are Jason Terry (Nets), Isaiah Thomas (Kings) and Jameer Nelson (Magic).

I thought Rbk is getting out of the basketball shoe business... I thought it was going to be strictly "lifestyle" Pumps, retros and Swizz Beats x Basquiat collabs

Beginning of Nerlens career has been struggle. Falling in the draft and signing with Reebok :x

He ain't see Wall started flourishing after he switched to Adidas?

I don't have a particularly negative reaction to the Reebok sneaker deal. However, I've heard enough rumblings to not fully trust Noel's camp of advisors.

I always hear people talk about hearing "rumblings of bad things from Noel's camp" and that people don't trust them. What exactly have people heard that's so wrong with them? As soon as Wall left Reebok and got with Adidas he started flourishing on and off the court with a ton more attention and marketing. Reebok is the black hole of all athletic brands. Bad, bad move IMO.

That's the thing, no one can absolutely confirm. We've all heard shady business dealings and decisions. But I can't confirm his camp is truly malicious without concrete details or evidence.
