Did the Rockets tank and draft Harden? Did they draft Parsons in the Lottery?

The only thing Houston did was started their rebuilding process earlier than the Mavs have... How many times in the last decade has Houston just bottomed out and drafted in the Top 5? None?

Suggesting that's the only route to a rebuilding process is ignorant and asinine.
 
And the Lakers sit by with their thumb in their ***** while trying to appease one player.

I would argue that they probably should, but I doubt it.

Jefferson is the seven-footer. The true center with elite back-to-the-basket skills. The All-Star. The 20 and 10 guy. All of those narrative things that get you dumb paid (like, $15+ million per, not $9 million).

But he is still a black hole and literally worthless on defense. Millsap should be much more affordable, and similarly productive in different ways.

It always blows my mind when I realize that those two are the same age (28). Seems impossible. It feels like Jefferson has been in the league for about 12 years. And look at him.

of course there are other ways to rebuild but that's the traditional way to rebuild especially with the draft class coming in next year.

Dallas right now has many holes. The fact is they also won't rush and just sign guys for no reason...this FA crop isn't all that great for what they need. There isn't a top flight PG or C if they dont land Dwight.

Larkin is gonna be great I love his game. He would benefit from a solid center.
 
Hot damn! Maybe the Clips could get Dwight to take a pay cut to join the more talented LA team?
 
I wonder where Dragic is getting dealt and what he can get back for the Suns. I don't think Marshall has any trade value and he's still on his rookie contract.
