MJ. Josh Howard stays zooted.
I honestly believe he toked at half time in the locker rooms or bathrooms. I have no idea how it would be possible (somehow Artest got drunk in the locker room though) but as a Mav he used to have explosive 1st halves then totally disappear in the 2nd. It made no sense at all. In fact, IIRC he even lead the Mavs in 1st quarter scoring.

who is your Uncle????

OJ Mayo is a better basketball player than Reke. OJ completely nosedived into the end of the season and still had virtually identical production to Reke all the while playing with Dirk. He's every bit of the playmaker Reke is and is far better outside shooter. Reke never had a stretch last season that made you say there was anything there.

I actually think Reke is better than Iguodala. I've thought Iggy was overrated for yearssss. For his hype and value, his production normally falls far short.

Brandon Jennings I would think is better than Reke too. I'm not a BJ fan by any means, but I didn't see anything from Reke last season that suggested he was better than Any of those guys.

JR Smith > Reke as well. Forgot to throw him in that bunch.

Bottom line, if Reke is getting paid that much I wouldn't be surprised to see all of these guys look to get deals in that ball park.

Wait. So OJ Mayo is better than both Tyreke Evans and Andre Iguodala? I wouldn't want to pay that Evans contract, but Evans is absolutely the more valuable player. Mayo has some mental hurdles he needs to overcome.

But BJ, Mayo, Reke, and JR are not even close to Iggy. Iggy can't shoot, but he can do pretty much everything else, and he's a better defender than each of those guys put together.

but I guess some things don't bother people if the money is right.
That's exactly what it is.

Wilbon spoke about it on PTI today. I'm paraphrasing but he said he's had off-the-record casual conversations with Clipper players/coaches over the years about why they put up with Sterling's antics. It came down to money for basically everyone.

Wilbon also noted that Sterling was the first NBA owner to hire a black GM and gave him semi-credit for some other ****.

Not sure how often this happens but Doc Rivers had his people completely re-work the contract language/terms offered by Donald before he accepted the job.

Why is Evans more valuable than Mayo though? What makes him better than Mayo? He's bigger, that's about it. OJ's the better shooter, creator, overall better offensive player. I just don't see it in Evans. Statistically, they put up virtually identical stats and it took OJ having a terrible 2nd half of the year to get to that point.

And those guys aren't even close to Iggy? Really? 13, 5, and 5? But they aren't close to him? That's a borderline laughable statement.
