The young coaches movement is in full effect this offseason :pimp: :pimp:

Malone, Shaw, Hornaseck, Stevens, I'm forgetting a few others but its dope to see. New blood :pimp: :pimp:

GREAT move for Stevens. He can always go back to a college job and no matter what happens in the NBA, he'll be in high demand. That being said, I think it's imperative that the C's move Rondo for the sake of Stevens. If Rondo gave Doc a hard time, I just can't believe that he'll respect Stevens one bit. Give Stevens a completely gutted roster and let him work. Rondo will net a huge return, and they should be burning up the phones calling Detroit to see what it would take to land Drummond. C's have Rondo + MANY assets. Get it done.

This has been one of the best NBA offseasons that I can remember and we're just getting started.
All great points. Plus Rondo is a "true point guard" aka guy who can't score... What's he gonna do with no talent around him. He's even more worthless without Ray, PP, and KG to make him Look better than he actually is, and thats when he will start blaming Stevens for things and it will bring nothing but disfunction to the locker room.

Hmmm. Don't know if the Raptors feel the same way, Rudy.

You'll all see come mid January. Then it will become "The roster isnt built to allow him to flourish" and blah blah blah.

According to witnesses, Kobe Bryant challenged Dwight Howard to stay with the Lakers and learn how to be a champion.
Bryant apparently invoked Michael Jordan's notorious hard-driving ways and told him he wouldn't let up. Kobe reportedly attempted to show Howard that he needs Bryant and the Lakers as much as they need him. "You have to learn how it's done," Bryant told Howard, witnesses described to Yahoo! Sports. "I know how to do it and I've learned from the best -- players who have won multiple times over and over."

 Howard won't still get it.

I can't wait to bring up this Rondo conversation when he's top 3 in assists come All Star Break fighting for the 8th seed even with the world's worst roster

As a Celtics fan, I couldn't be happier. So glad they didn't recycle some old dude. Stevens will have to adjust, but he's as smart as they come. I'm ecstatic.

Whatever happened to the old adage "Great players make others better? He will sit there, struggle, and deflect until hes traded.

Your better than that

^^^ If true, makes me wonder how much Kobe really wants Dwight back.

wouldnt you want Dwight Howard on your team if your one of the most competitive players to ever live? come on now, Dwight Howard is good if hes focused and not joking around. Thats like saying Lebron wouldnt kill to have Dwight on his team
