Oden could have a Grant Hill type situation if his knees miraculously work for an extended period of time

Have any of you guys ever gotten a jersey framed? Trying to get an idea of how much it will cost me.

assuming you are looking to get a nice frame job
Oh wow I wasnt expecting nearly that much. Good looks on the info though. I want to get my Tim Duncan jersey framed eventually, its not like I can wear it, its like a dress on me.

Here I was thinking you were going to eulogize Ginobili by framing his jersey.
Apparently you guys only remember Ohio St Oden.
Jesus H. Christ, thank you.

can someone explain to me the ins and outs of a sign and trade? i was looking at some cap numbers, and if the rockets cut delfino/garcia/brooks and trade thomas robinson to sign dwight that would put us at about the cap limit and our roster would look as follows:

PG- jeremy lin, pat bev
sg- james harden, james anderson
sf- chandler parsons, ???
pf- terrence jones, donatas motiejunas, royce white
c- dwight howard, omer asik, greg smith

i would think the rockets would have to move asik or lin to free up 8-10 million to sign some complimentary pieces. anyone?

the cheapest way to get a frame is to go to your local, custom frame shop. If you live in a big city and there are a few around you, then just price shop; call them up and ask them.

if you want a cheap wood perimeter and just a decent plexi glass cover over the front, they'll make it. If you want the most expensive, richest wood they have for a frame, and you want a nice piece of bullet proof, fire ******ant glass on the front, and you want them to make the whole thing with an airtight backing and multiple hanging options on the back, they'll make it.

you definitely don't have to spend $300 if you don't want to. However, with all the options available, you can definitely go way over $300 if you want to. only frame I have is the front page of the sports section of the OC Register on October 28th, 2002. :smokin ran me like $60.

JR Smith will opt out of his contract with the Knicks and become a free agent. The Phoenix Suns will heavily pursue JR. (Newsday

That jersey was given away back in 2008, but if I still had it I would have burned it. I was that angry with the guy.

Jesus H. Christ, thank you.

Granted saying Oden has been bit with the injury bug would be an understatement, it'd still be an interesting low risk high reward gamble. Especially when you factor in the fact that Riley's not likely to break up the Big 3 and there's no available cap space otherwise to make any significant upgrades. So we got to go to the scrap yard and find low valued parts.

Injured Oden >>> Healthy Joel

There's only so much the Knicks can give him. He can't/doesn't have to work any leverage angles, he either takes less in NY or leaves.

JR Smith is staying in NY, he's just trying to get more money out of his next contract with them.

He should stay in NY but another team will foolishly offer him something nicer than the Knicks can and he'll go there and underachieve. Him being the 6th man in NY is the perfect situation, if you put him on a marginally good team as the #2 guy good luck making the playoffs.

PHX ain't making the playoffs no time soon anyway and he'd probably **** around and be their #1 option.

I can see them rolling the dice on JR and spending money just because.

Report: Assaulted Fan Had Spit On Pippen, Called Him N-Word

A day after TMZ's report that Scottie Pippen had kicked the **** out of an aggressive autograph seeker, Pippen's side of the story is starting to get out.

A source told the New York Daily News the hospitalized autograph hound was not just some harmless fan with benign intentions:

The fan started the tussle, spit on the ex-athlete and screamed the called him the N-word, the source said, adding that Pippen was holding his 4-year-old daughter at the time.

“Can you imagine, you’re out to dinner with your wife, your four kids and your mother-in-law, and someone calls you the N-word and starts to get physical?” the source said, calling the alleged victim’s story a “crock.”

The source further told the Daily News, "When Scottie left, this guy had no injuries." So does that mean someone else beat him up? A spokesman for the sheriff's office also said the unidentified man was described as having been intoxicated. No charges have been filed, and the police investigation is ongoing.
