LMAO at everybody saying Kobe been thru worst and will rise like he did with Kwame and Smush Parker.. Lets see, Memphis basically gave the lakers Paul Gasol and they had they G.O.A.T phill Jackson as a coach. I think that may have had something to do with it.

i hated shaq hatin on dwight but he was right.

dont give me that nobody wants to play with kobe crap. shaq won 3 rings with kobe. pau won 2.

dwight is emo

you hadto be gentle with him

Dwight is a sensitive diva little girl and I would say that regardless if he resigned with the lakers. I was happy they got him last year but I wasn't high on him the person then either for what he pulled in Orlando.

He went from one of the more likeable players in the league around 2009-10. Even if he wasn't on your team he seemed like a fun likeable player.

Fast forward 3 years later and he alienated two teams fan bases and has rubbed off most nba fans with his constant flip flopping in general. He's a free agent and its his right to leave but his constant flip flopping, agreeing to stay with Orlando another year, then demanding a trade then everything from last season. Dude is a big baby.

Regarding Houston. I'm curious as to how things play out after the honeymoon period. He'll have a happy press conference where he jokes around and talks about how he can't wait to have fun, but lets see how things are a year and a half from now. Lets see how long it takes for him to complain about mchale, gets bothered about having to live up to Hakeem's standards, gets upset with being scrutinized after a second round defeat, takes exception to harden wanting the ball etc. he'll put on the good solider act right now but its hard for me to believe he'll change the reputation he's brought upon himself over the past 2 seasons.

Yeah trading a future defensive player of the year for Pau, his name is Pau, not Paul btw. That trade was your typical NBA trade that you can't judge until a few years after it went down. Many trades look one sided at first but time proves otherwise.

as it stands the rockets are a 3-6 seed as they are currently built

Marc was a 7 footer & was breaking Sabonis's records in the Spanish League winning MVP and **** before he came over. LA would kill to have an asset like that right now. The cupboard is bare.

They just have a bunch of old dudes and cap space to give to an upcoming unrestricted FA class that, without Bron, won't get them to a title. It's gonna be tough

Lmaooooo at that first born, jumpmanfromthebay convo.

Jumpman isn't that bad, he's like Paulie from rocky though it takes a few years to get used to his posts on here lmao.

But wait why is first born mad at him to begin with. Both of them are very anti laker themselves.

they didnt "give" anything. they got Marc Gasol so i fail to see an issue

Good points. (Not being sarcastic)

also why is Devin Harris still in the league? what exactly is he good at? im dead serious

How anyone could see losing Lionel Hollins as an upgrade is beyond me... That's a huge deal for this team.

anyone else think more players need signature shoes?

I expect Nike to give Harden or Uncle Drew a shoe. But I think Kyrie is going to be the key guy for the new Hyperdunk this fall.

I just think a lot of guys like rocking old kicks or iD's. I expect a lot of guys to be wearing the new KD's in summer league and in the regular season.

More should I mean Amare had a few signature shoes with Nike. The others just want to keep most in the flagship shoe.

Back to FA talk:

I really need to know why didn't Oj and Milsap didn't go to a contending team. I think Iggy on the warriors is okay but I thought they could add to that bench.

AK47 is still out there.

Props to Portland for getting a damn bench. McCollun 6th man?

 At Born wanting to fight a guy over Niketalk posts

Anyways Josh Smith to the Pistons, I don't know how that will work out

Kyrie will have a shoe coming out in a year or two, I remeber a niketalker saying he met him at a gym and the nt'er asked about it, and kyrie said theyre in the process of designing them now.

iono.
