Very true!!! Some are hilarious

Andrew Wiggins hasn't even played a college basketball game yet, don't why there is talk about him in this thread.

*waits for Paul George to lock up wiggins*

lol

Lol @ Wiggins ceiling being Paul George. Dude is better than PG right now.

:rolleyes Hasn't played against NBA competition once and yall say dumb stuff like this.
Wiggins hype is at an all time high right now, got ppl saying all types of foolish **** :smh: ...that boy nice, just let him play some college games 1st...

he shouldn't have to. It's not fair that bs 1 year in college rule he would easily be the first pick

Everybody knows he'll be the first pick...n that rule is definitely dumb but its been there for a while now so lets see him play at Kansas before ppl talkin bout he better than NBA all stars...

No one ever said that he was the best prospect since Lebron James or the best prospect regardless of classification, though.
Fine lets talk about OJ Mayo because he was the last person to get that comparison.....people give players the all star card before he play a nba game

what don't you understand that he was not the best player in his class. Both rivals and espn said Eric Gordon was better than him. Eric ******g Gordon

The Thunder picked Perkins and Ibaka over Harden. That team is going nowhere with just Durant and Westbrook. Time to break it up :nerd: :smokin

They didn't pick Ibaka over Harden. They did try to sign them both, just got Ibaka done first. However, Presti did divulge that even had James taken the 4yr 52million dollar deal he was offered, that that was just a "short term solution" I think is how he put it, so likely somebody was going to be traded after 1 yr of being in the tax anyways, just wanted to give it 1 more try against Miami probably then say **** it and turn back into Donald Sterling. Allegedly Harden and Pelinka were aware of this and wanted a kicker in his deal, as well as more money. Hate him and those bums in the ownership office pretending like they don't have any money though while at the same time raising ticket prices every season and tax payer funding all the downtown and arena renovations. And Presti is beyond pretentious in his interviews, just extra feelig himself for somebody who hasn't won any titles yet and of course our local cupcake media lets him get away with it.

He traded James Harden for a yr of Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, and multiple picks in a bumass draft (the #12 this yr and a Dallas pack that is top 20 protected until the year lie infiniti times infiniti). He said he wanted Parsons but Morey wouldn't budge

KD and Westbrook deserve better. I think KD is leaving in 2016, or technically getting traded in 2015 summer after he refuses to extend early, since Presti never lets his assets reach free agency.

Not only Eric Gordon, but Pooh, & Beasley were also considered to be better than him by the end of their Junior seasons.

Hell Beasley was considered to be the best player in the entire class.

Furthermore those comparisons were coming after his Soph yr. Where he had already won 3, THREE, state titles. He was bigger and more seasoned than every other player in his class. At that time he was DOMINATING everyone. Junior year players grew and the talent disparity shrunk drastically. He was still the goods but no one with any sense was referring to him as the next LeBron after that season.

OJ Mayo's hype was way overboard. Kinda reminds me of Shabazz today.

But O.J. actually was very good in College. He was over 20 a game for the season and ended his college career at over 26 a game over the last 10 on I think some crazy 50 + % from 3. His limitations that hindered him in college have hurt him in the pro's, (Mainly to's and not getting to the free throw line) but he was still extremely productive and one of the top guards in the country. Not to mention he locked down some of the best guards in the country that season. (Jerryd Bayless, Derrick Rose)

Shabazz at no point this year produced in the same fashion that OJ did at SC. Shabazz showed virtually nothing last season that suggest he's a lotto pick. He had a storied High school career though which will probably get him in the lotto. However, he's slow, non athletic, can't create for himself or others, undersized, and is extremely streaky at best. His best assets are rebounding, and running the floor to get easy points. Those assets are not lotto.

I'd take OJ on my team any day of the week, but it wouldn't surprise me if Shabazz had a better NBA career than OJ at this point. I'm definitely in the minority here though.

I honestly don't see. I could be wrong, but I don't see Shabazz ever being an 18 point per game player in the league. Not close. He can't shoot, and he doesn't have the handle or athleticism to create offense for himself. I honestly see him as another JHam from Denver except he can't shoot as well as him. I'm not saying OJ has been all world in the league, but he's been very productive, and setting the bar for Shabazz at OJ Mayo is too high for him. I just don't see it. I hope he proves me wrong though, he's a really dope guy, real solid person. :smokin

@suberzat. I'm just saying oj mayo had the hype but there were players better than him. Wiggins has the hype plus there is noone in his class that's on the same level as him
