Everybody seems to forget about Draymond Green

Told ya I was stupidly forgetting 2 more guys.

They look real nice. Bright future for those guys.
Plus Kent Bazemore and the guy they just drafted. They will be fine.
Warriors should get Anthony Morrow back. Imagine a backcourt of Curry/Klay/Morrow

I wish they could get Dorrell Wright and his bright yellow Dadas back.

so warriors pick up jo, speights, and douglas.

not bad at all man...

also brian scalabrine joining the coaching staff

Except for the god scalabrine - those 3 are terrible and unreliable. Seriously? JO had a decent year with the suns, was terrible and injured before that. Sleights doesn't pass or play defense. Toney Douglas?!

Can someone post that video of d'antoni talking about toney Douglass's role with the Knicks  kills me everytime

PG: Stephen Curry, Toney Douglas, Scott Machado
SG: Klay Thompson, Kent Bazemore, Kevin Murphy, Nedovic?
SF: Andre Iguodala, Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green
PF: David Lee, Marreese Speights
C: Andrew Bogut, Jermaine O'neal, Festus Ezeli, Dwyane Jones

Looking at this, you can say "damn their frontcourt is nice". They have 3 guys at SF that can get legit minutes, 2 legit PF's (Speights is capable of starting if Lee goes down, he did it in Memphis) and 3 defensive centers.

But, when you get to that backcourt...how can you say they are ok? After Klay Thompson, they do not have a proven guard to back him up. Maybe they play Barnes at the backup 2 and let Green backup Iggy?

After Curry, you have Douglas who is a definite downgrade from Jack.

With all this Warrior and Rockets talk, who ya'll got finishing with a better record and playoff run?

I got the Rockets better in the regular season and a deeper run in the postseason as well (with my homerism and realistically)

Warriors in both

dont see why the warriors tied up so much money with iggy. hes a good player but limited offensively. and barnes was pretty nice last year.

from zach lowes article, can't believe the money some of these teams spent

Look at the deals for Kyle Korver (four years, $24 million), Jose Calderon (four years, $29 million), Kevin Martin (four years, $30 million), J.J. Redick (four years, $27 million), O.J. Mayo (three years, $24 million), Tony Allen (four years, $20 million), J.J. Hickson (three years, $15 million), Zaza Pachulia (three years, $15 million), J.R. Smith (four years, $25 million), Jack (four years, $25 million)

that doesnt include al jefferson

hickson was a good bargain but skill set is repetitive on that team. would have liked to see a team like the spurs go after him instead of 9 mil a year on thiago

i like what the clippers have done.

The Warriors were over the cap going into the summer. Their best case scenario looked like it was retaining Jack and Landry, or find replacements if they wanted too much money. Worst case was losing them and being the same team, with a less talented bench.

Instead they lost them and got Andre Iguodala, Speights, Douglas, and O'Neal so far.

A Laker-like summer. You'd think one was behind the scenes :nerd:

Broussard was literally 25 minutes late with the Mbah a Moute trade

so who on the bench going to get buckets for the warriors...maybe barnes. Not to confident in tony. If it wasnt for jack the warriors would have been lost in the playoffs plus some key games in those final few games in the regular season.

twitter sources

Serious. I bet Broussard spends his days doing the same thing most of us do. Sitting at his desk, checking Twitter for NBA news. Except that he gets paid to do it and then claims it like he came up with it. Nice gig for him.

Rockets....think the warriors will have more problems than the rockets. cant count on curry being healthy all season

All depends on matchups when looking at Houston and Golden State. I would probably go with Golden State if both teams are healthy. Mainly because I trust Curry more than Harden coming up big for their respective teams. When its all said and done, its going to be about how those two guys performed. I do think Harden will perform much better with Dwight on the inside to take some pressure off of him.
