The Sacramento Kings are in the lead to sign Monta Ellis.

I'm not even sure RCK can be sarcastically positive about that.

^ I was thinking this. People think of Moute having no offensive game, but what's the best PG he's played with? Beno Udrih?

People still wondering who will start at 3 for the Warriors? You don't pay that much money to an all star SF who has some of the best defense for the most popular position currently in the league to come off the bench. You're not gonna need Iggy to guard the Matt Barnes, Earl Clark, Pondexter and Josh Hamiltons of the world. You let Barnes be the 6th man and develop and your success in the following seasons will determine whether you gotta let Iggy go and Harrison is the man or trade Harrison or have him solidify his bench role.

Iggy can actually slide down to the 2 if necessary for teams with a solid 2, and weaker 3.

I think it will work well, and both will get a lot of minutes.

Then what about Klay? :frown:

It's a matchup thing at times..

But Iggy is a 2 & a 3. So you have that flexibility..

Not saying Klay would be permanently bench player. Just saying certain matchups could lend themselves to iggy at the 2.

Warriors will not be better than the Rockets. Reg season or playoffs...

Warriors about to be Knicks west...

Hype for nothing.

One of the biggest knocks on Harrison Barnes is that he can disappear from games.

Do you really want your 6th man to disappear? I think not.

You need to get him going.

Sometimes the best players don't start for the betterment of the squad.

Manu is a HOF who never starts and gets payed out the *** compared to Danny Green.

Similar situation.

If Danny Green isn't in rhythm, he's worthless. And before the NBA Finals, Danny Green was a well below average NBA starter.

They'll both get major minutes.

Doesn't matter who starts, it's who closes and that will be Iggy.

I mean. How do you expect him to not disappear once in a while when he's playing with Klay and Steph who are their go to shooters?

Especially as a rookie. Obviously he isnt going to be hot every night.

I think if that's the only major flaw you can think of for the kid then it just proves how bright of a future he has.

The fact that Harrison disappears far too often is the only reason Golden State even owns his rights.

His disappearing acts go back to his UNC days. He would have been a certified top 3 pick had he been more consistent at UNC.

And yeah, I think he has a very BRIGHT future. I just really don't think he's built for that 6th man role. That's not his game. We'll see.

It's almost as if him and Dion Waiters should just switch teams.
